Haram. Not great for solo female travelers, and not great in the off season. I was asked for s e x twice by one of the staff members (maybe there are certain views of Americans because it is a different culture), and he was nice when I declined, but this should never be something an employee asks guests. Ever. As a woman staying alone here, I was very uncomfortable and found a new place the next day. The owner was absent and lives in Fes, so I spoke with him over the phone with the staff beside me and wasn’t sure how to explain the situation. So I paid a little extra to cancel early, left for a new place “to meet a friend” (because even if you’re staying alone, you should always say you have a friend you’re meeting in whatever city for safety reasons), left a review mentioning the issue on Booking, and sent a message a few days ago. Between the response a week later to my query on the best way to get there (last month) and the lack of response regarding the issue mentioned above, I do not think the owner cares about his business, only the money. Otherwise, he would communicate expected guest arrivals with staff and would make sure they treat guests respectfully, instead of asking them for s e x.

I booked a week in advance, and when I arrived, they didn’t seem to be expecting me. I’m not sure if the owner is in Fes year round or just in the off season like February. Anyway, the top of the toilet lid had brown splatters, and the shower didn’t drain well. Otherwise, the bed was comfortable, and the room was nice. I was either the only traveler that night or one of the few because both breakfast and dinner were a bit slow, and I was the only one eating—although I saw a group come in the next morning at breakfast.

It’s a bit far from town, and if they can’t find a taxi for you, you’ll be standing by the side of the road for a few minutes to flag one down. Not the most conveniently located.

Overall, the staff was friendly and helpful—but perhaps a bit too friendly. I came to Morocco to study, and my new Moroccan friends that I made afterwards were appalled when I told them I was asked for s e x at a place I was staying (since many places do not even let you stay with your partner if you aren’t yet married). So at least you know it’s not only an uncommon request but also an unacceptable one in Moroccan culture, and hopefully it does not...

The place is about 7km away from the city center and with limited rooms. It you are looking for a quite place and in the middle of nowhere then this is your place. The room that we stayed at have heater but it’s not enough to warm the whole place and you need to use some other blankets to cover the door and windows as the place were not properly isolated from the cold winter temperature. There is a smell coming from the toilet and you need to close the door firmly. The employees that we have met are very helpful and a plus and the breakfast is fine. With the price that was offered I think the package is fine but I definitely recommend to the property owner to revisit the condition of the room to be equipped during the winter season and fix the bad smell at...

Il bagno cella frigorifera non aveva un riscaldamento (questa cosa nn mi è piaciuta per niente) però tuttavia mi hanno messo a disposizione un ulteriore bagno sul pianerottolo caldo e quindi ho risolto il problema .. inoltre ci dovevo passare solo una notte quindi ..|Per il resto tutto benissimo ... un amico che era con me ha avuto un problema con L acqua della doccia la mattina presto .. praticamente va in blocco la caldaia ogni tanto e si stoppa L acqua per un pochino .. meglio fare la doccia alla sera io nn ho avuto nessun problema ci sono stata le ore ||La colazione e stata spettacolare tutto preparato sul momento ci siamo portati via per il|Viaggio le cose avanzate talmente era tutto così buono |Personale gentile e disponibile |La pommeraie d’ifrane ha una mega piscina per i mesi estivi davvero bella tanto spazio e aree sfruttabili con la bella stagione una vista super rilassante |A parte qualche piccolo inconveniente avuto...
