Dar Walid Cap Sim — Hotel in Essaouira

Hello everyone, we had a great time at Walid's beautiful place . My friend and I wanted to stay for a few days but ended up staying for a week because it's just fantastic here. Walid has decorated his beautiful house in a very beautiful Moroccan style. Each floor has its own outdoor area, with plants and beautiful decorations everywhere. The centrepiece is the roof terrace, from where you probably have the best view over Ouassen and Sidi Kauki. The perfect spot for any sunset or relaxed round with a few people. The accommodation is very clean and spacious. Walid is just a great guy. He helped us with all our questions and was always willing to help us with little things or give us tips for the next destination. If we are ever in Ouassen again, we would only stay with Walid. Excellent place to stay for many reasons.

First, Walid is a great host, making sure all your needs are taken care of quickly, and being very accommodating in every way a host should be. Also just a nice and calm guy.

Second, the view from the 2nd floor and roof is incredible for sunrise, sunset, or really any time of day. You can watch the ocean and the waves from the perfect distance.

Third, the house itself is beautiful and very thoughtfully built in a classic Moroccan style. Makes you feel like you're in a little castle with lots of intricate yet cozy interior design.

When we first stumbled upon this flat on AirBnB, it seemed almost too good to be true. There must be a catch! But everything was as perfect as it seemed online. Dar Walid is the most thoughtful, gracious host.

He provided us with all the information we needed and showed us around, Dar Walid was also very helpful since the beginning, available at all times whenever I had any questions. Totally recommend it.

The bed is comfortable, bathroom and terrace are excellent. Location is incredible. He went way beyond to make our long-weekend comfortable and memorable.
