Hi,
First of all I would like to tell you that I have been so many times in the ibis budget fes hotel. I have always been very content about the empolyees and the hotel. This is the main reason why I believe it is important to maintain that image.
I would like to inform you about the people that work in your hotel. Today has been a big fiasco. I came all the way from Larache to Fes to visit beautiful Fes. As usual I always book this hotel because I never had any complaints about it.
Today your emoloyee Doha has been very rude to us. She was screaming at us as if we were animals. Why? Because one of us forget her Moroccan ID, even though she had her international passport and Belgian ID with her, Doha refused her to enter the hotel. We had to go all the way to the police office to get het Moroccan ID, even the police thought this was very bizarre because she had her Belgian ID AND International Passport with her.
I think it would be better for this hotel to make sure their employees are professional enough to not scream at the clients.
Besides that Doha is not professional at all. She was on her phone the whole time and was flirting with her boyfriend the whole time. This kind of behaviour should not be in a hotel like this. There are several other clients in the hotel that will approve what I am saying as they all agreed with me. I’d like to inform you that this mail will be sent to the head of Ibis as well and Moroccan directors Mohammed Taouda,Mohamed Alaoui, Hakim Maamar and Khalid Cherkaoui.
I hope you take this...
Read moreI stayed here for 2 weeks. The customer service by the reception and chamber cleaning is good. They speak english. The dealbreaker is definitely the room card. It keeps getting deactivated. For everyday I would step out, I come back to hotel straight to my room and find I cannot use the card. So I would go down again and have my card activated. Imagine the hassle! I only got used to it, reactivating my card by the receptionist before i take the lift to my room. By the way the first problem was when I was given a room with a queen-sized bed with a bunk bed on top. I requested another room on my 3rd day cos i had hit my head on the bunk bed once. One of the receptionist also tried flirting with me once, he tried to ask me out and offered to take me on his scooter to show the whole city. It was a nice gesture to show the city but I think it’s too soon to trust a stranger. After all, i have a boyfriend from Fes but i think i would accept that as something friendly, despite the intention. As a rule, too, couriers of deliveries like glove for example are not allowed to enter the hotel floors. So all deliveries would be expected to be received by the lobby
What I love is its location. It is normally quiet neighborhood with plenty of cafe and shops around it. I am a regular to one of the restaurant. At first time I met the owners of these cafes and restaurant they would accommodate me and befriended me, which made my stay...
Read moreIn quiet neighborhood. There are cafes and all sorts of shop within the vicinity. Im staying here 2 weeks. There’s room cleaning everyday, and replenish necessities new daily. Lobby speaks english and french too, but other personnels try to communicate as much as possible in english. Guys its cheaper to book in Agoda 😂😂 than booking at front desk. The receptionists say varying costs per night. The rooms have AC, just perfect for me who wasn’t prepared for winter, clothes-wise. They don’t have a restaurant but the area beside the front desk only serve breakfast. Nonetheless, cafes are in every corner. Reaching the center, there are plenty of metered taxis to hop on around the area. Besides, a supermarket called Marjane is just in front of the hotel. Big plus. There's just one thing I exactly don't like. The room passes keep on being disabled. So everyday i have to make them activate my room pass. It is just not cool. Especially after walking so much around the city, i reach my room and the door wont open so i have to descent to the...
