My husband and I had a wonderful experience at Kasbah Aalma d'Or. It is in such a beautiful and peaceful setting. We found staying in the center of Marrakech to be very chaotic and noisy the last time we visited in Morocco, so we appreciated the tranquility of this hotel.||The owners and staff could not be nicer. The rooms are very large with a stylish Moroccan decor. We also appreciated the modern amenities, including air conditioning, refrigerator, bathrobes, towel warmer, and satellite tv. The owners also arranged transportation for us to and from the airport.||There is a pool and spa onsite. We also enjoyed sitting outside in the courtyard and by the pool for dinner. The gardens and landscaping were beautiful. The owners and staff were very accommodating. For example, they brought us ice and fresh mint from the garden to make drinks with some alcohol we brought from Spain. ||Dinners were delicious, with a large amount of food. The starter included several types of fresh vegetables from their garden. They also made an effort to serve us something different each dinner and breakfast so the food did not get repetitive.||We cannot thank Bernard, Claudie, and the staff enough for their...
Read moreLovely place, Bernard is a great host & Jamila cooks great food.||We stayed for 6 nights whilst my son was playing for the UK in the World Footgolf Cup||Arrival was a nightmare after a ploblem with hire car. Had told Bernard we'd arrive for dinner at 8pm but it was after 10 when we finally got there. Warmly greeted by Bernard & sat down to a great meal.||Bernard was a great help in organising taxis to & from Al Madan at various times for the footgolf.||Friends were staying at the 5 star team hotel but came round for dinner. Jamila cooked a beef tagine with quince. Our friends said it was the best food they had all week. Jamila's meatball tagine was also superb. The food was so good that we never went any where else for dinner.||Room was spacious with great view of garden & snow covered mountains.||It was worth staying a bit out of Marrakesh for the peace & quiet, personal service, food etc rather than a mega hotel in the tourist area.||Love to go back when it's a bit warmer so we can enjoy the gardens &...
Read moreWe have just returned from a relaxing 4 night stay at the Kasbah. The hotel is gorgeous - a beautiful building with huge, comfortable rooms, an enormous bed and large modern bathrooms. Bernard and Claudine, the owners are very charming and helpful - sorting out taxis etc. The food, cooked by Jamila is amazing! We had something different every night from chicken tagine to Moroccan meatballs and all were delicious. During the day, Jamila would prepare us a huge salad and home made bread for lunch if we wanted it. All of the staff were friendly and helpful. The swimming pool was lovely, though a little cold but it was February so we expected that! The grounds are really pretty and well maintained. The hotel is a bit outside of Marrakech itself, but for us this was perfect as we came for sun and relaxation. We visited the city one day and it took around 25 minutes by cab. Thank you for a fantastic break! ...
