A just want to thank Pierre and the team at the Les Jardins De Marrakesh.||My wife & I have just returned back to a wet and windy UK having spent a very lovely 10 days at this property. This is a very beautiful and relaxing resort. ||We were met at Marrakesh (RAK) Airport,by Taxi Driver Mohamed. who took us to the resort. Mohamed works in conjunction with the resort, and was our go to man for all travelling requirements. He is a top class drive and very welcoming.||The resort is approximately minutes from the airport, and 30 minutes to the main Medina. ||The property is very authentic and the gardens are beautiful, and very well kept, as are the rooms, the bed is very comfortable. ||The food was very good, both breakfast & dinner. Ishmael and the rest of the kitchen staff did an excellent job, providing us with some excellent food , also doing their best to cater for a very fussy person, Thank you so much. ||This is a truly beautiful and relaxing resort. It is very calm, which is exactly what we needed. ||It was a pleasure to meet with Pierre and his family. They are very lovely people and their assistance through out our time with you is much appreciated. ||Pierre, If you get chance to read this review, thank you so much, i have your contact details and will be in touch over the next few months, and will certainly be coming back to stay next year. all the best,...
Read moreLes Jardins de Marrakech is a gem in the Moroccan countryside away from the hustle and bustle of the Medina. It’s the place to choose if you want to relax by the pool in the sunshine with a lovely larger bedroom. I chose the Suite which was massive - a floorprint bigger than most houses, with its four-poster bed, sitting area, large bath, separate shower, and terrace. The food is very good - home cooked every day with breakfasts of bread, jams and cheese, sometimes with pancakes and Moroccan breads. Evening meals are three courses including tagine, cous cous, pizza, lasagne, fresh salad. The team is so friendly and will do anything to help you - Pierre, Redouane, Fatima, Sana and the chefs. As a solo traveller I felt very safe in this gated secure hotel. Excursions to Ourika, Marrakech and Ouzoude Waterfalls are really easily organised. If you want breathtaking views of the snow capped Atlas Mountains (travelled in April) then suggest room 20 above the spa. The spa is available on request. I had the hamman and a massage and it was very good. The hamman at the hotel is so good such an excellent facility. The swimming pool is cleaned daily. It’s not heated but when it’s above 25 degrees you don’t need it to be as you want to cool down! All in, a lovely hotel with the most stunning...
Read moreThis place was terrible.
Positive: the bed was very big and nice and clean bedlinnen. And they arranged a taxi when we requested one.
Negative: The place is really hard to find by Google maps or Maps.me. Our cab driver needed 1 hour on dirt roads extra to get there. The pool is not heated, just the tiny pool on a sideis a few degrees warmer than the big one but still freezing (even though i asked weeks upfront if the pool would be heated). The shower was blocked and even though we mentioned this 3 times, the only thing they did was mopping it once. So we could not shower in 24 hours. Also, there was no wifi the first day. Food was very average, compared to other places. All in all, it’s very overpriced and run down. This place could be great with a lot of maintenance and care. And a...
