Maison Ka — Hotel in Marrakesh Prefecture

We recently had the pleasure of staying at Maison KA in Marrakech with our extended family, totaling 24 people, and our experience was oreally good. While Maison KA isn't located in the heart of the Medina, it is just 30-minute walk awayfrom the heart of it, with the advantage of allowing us to easily access the riad by car – a luxury not commonly found within the Medina.

From the moment we made our reservation until our departure, the Maison KA team demonstrated unparalleled hospitality, kindness, and a commitment to ensuring our stay was memorable. Communication with the team was efficient and smooth, and their organizational skills were evident in their attention to detail.

The team went above and beyond to accommodate our large group's special requests, and for that, we are incredibly grateful. It made our stay stress-free and enjoyable.

One of the standout experiences during our stay was the dinner we enjoyed at the riad. Without a doubt, it was the best meal we had in Marrakech. The flavors and authenticity of the Moroccan cuisine served at Maison KA left a lasting impression on all of us.

However, what truly set Maison KA apart was the incredible team working there. They greeted us with warm smiles and were always ready to assist with any need or inquiry. Their dedication to making our stay as comfortable and enjoyable as possible was truly exceptional, and we can't thank them enough for their efforts.

We stayed for 4 nights in a family room located close to the main entrance. Every time the main entrance door was closed when other guests entered you could hear the "bang" until very late in the evening/ night. There was no hot water in the shower in the afternoon/ evening, only cold water. Bad smell from the bathroom. No fresh air in the room. The wifi was weak, and sometimes not working. The location is far away from the main attractions. The hotel cooperates with a car rental company you can´t trust. And the manager from the hotel even joined the lies from the guy who came with the car. The day before we communicated through whatsapp with the receptionist from the hotel about all the details for the car rental. The person who came with the car told us different lies; about insurance, payment and he even tried to deliver another car (older/ smaller). The hotel joined him, and we spent like 3-4 hours with lot´s of problems before we could take of by car. I would suggest to use an international company, not a local...

We had an amazing stay at Maison KA! Host was very responsive from the time of booking until even after we checked out - very helpful with instructions for getting around and finding anything you need, offered suggestions of local attractions and things to do and was generally very friendly. All the staff were amazing, tended to our every need and kept the place in perfect condition - special thanks to Mohammad who is on duty through the night and was so welcoming and friendly and made us feel at home straight away. The food and tea offered are delicious and the vibe of the whole place is so serene and peaceful. It is a bit of a distance from the medina (as stated in the listing) but it was very easy and cheap to get the bus into town (it stops right outside the hotel) and the taxi service offered makes for a very quick journey and isn't expensive.
