This is possibly the worst place I've stayed in my entire life of having toured 137 countries extensively.|This hotel is far, far away from the city, that means not accessible to basic shops for water or even a snack. The road in front becomes completely empty after sunset, and the hotel is surrounded by cultivating fields, not houses. The nearest supermarket is about 1.5 kms away. No restaurants anywhere excepting a McDonalds.||This hotel makes a world-record for having the highest numbers of "Unavailable Services' in its list compared to other 4-stars.||1. Single key-entry (your spouse remains awake to open the door whenever you are away from your room)|2. NOT A SINGLE PLUG POINT (Gone back to the donkey-ages). We had to unhook the TV to charge our electronic gadges one at a time.|3. No Tea/coffee in the room. Not a single electric kettle to make a cuppa of you own. Neither you would get one from the restaurant (THEY DON'T HAVE AN ELECTRIC KETTLE IN THE WHOLE HOTEL !!!)|4. Not even a single glass/cup is provided in the room.|5. NO AC. Only the fan mode works. There isn't any cooling. We kept the doors to the balcony open the whole day and night to let the breeze come in.|6. No complimentary water. Buy one at 5 times the market rate when you check-in.|7. Severely over-priced restaurant, You don't have a choice but to eat here as neither taxis are available, nor the drivers understand a word of English.|8. No Hot water in the bathroom. Bad toilettries.|and the list goes on and on.............||Greatly duped by my travel agent who booked it for me. In fact, the hotel is like a ghost-place in the morning without any tourists. The only tourists that you get to see are the people who comes in the evening (for a night's stay) in group tours, duped by their travel agents, earning a fat commission for this dump.||Recommendations...
Read moreWe booked our hotel from expedia and it didnt mention any extra city tax to be paid . The bill said that the only amount i have to pay is the total amount. When we checked in the person told us to pay the taxes in the bill and during check out JUST PAY THE BASE PRICE. When we we checking out the lady her name was miss karimen told us to pay the total amount as the taxes we paid at the time of check in were for the hotel and you have to pay the bill with taxes. We requested them that we have paid the taxes so the manager came from inside and threatened us that go. Tell expedia but you have to pay the whole price or you cant go back. We want the full price. We became very much scared as we were much far from home. After payment they didnt give us the official bill but they gave us an hand written bill. I wish that tripadvisor community will help me find justice of the atrocities. There were many things that the hotel receptionist and manager disrespected. But what can we do. This is not.my country and i was helpless. I also have a family back home to feed. Please u request to take action against these conmen who are looting customers. The breakfast they served was awful. My booking was breakfast included but they gave only bread tea and cornflakes in breakfast. If you want egg. Then you have to tell them seperately. I feel very insulted and i wont come to the city of maknes again. I didnt knew people here are so disrespectful. Beware guys. I request trip advisor to help me...
Read moreWe stayed in the hotel as a group for 14 days in April and May 2024. The hotel is very large and most of the rooms are also very spacious. It also has an excellent swimming pool in which you can seriously swim. The distance to the city center may be a bit annoying, but it is in the immediate vicinity of the largest shopping center in Meknes. But what counts in this hotel above all are the employees. I would like to single out the manager of the hotel, Mrs. Boutayna. I travel a lot myself and I have never met such a helpful, friendly and professional hotel manager. Mrs. Boutayna herself came to us and asked if there was anything she could help us with. Thus, practically nothing was impossible. So that we even made friends during our stay, which gave a special charm to our stay in the hotel because we felt like home. Mrs. Boutayna obviously took care of all the other guests as well, as she was constantly present and always in a good mood. It is also necessary to highlight the owner of the hotel, Ms. Khadija, who clearly cared about the well-being of her guests and was also characterised by kindness. The two ladies also worked well with each other, which was very evident. I would definitely recommend the hotel because of everything described above, but especially because of the friendliness and profesionalnim of the two ladies, which is very rare these days. Thank you Mrs. Boutayna and Mrs. Khadija. Inshallah,...
