A Perfect Pre-Flight Respite: Onomo Hotel Casablanca Airport Review My family and I recently found ourselves in need of a last-minute hotel near Casablanca Airport before an early flight. Booking the Onomo Hotel proved to be an absolute stroke of luck. For a very reasonable price, we secured comfortable and convenient accommodation just a short 15-minute drive from the airport terminals, making our departure morning stress-free. From the moment we arrived, the staff's hospitality shone brightly. Traveling with a group of ten can often be a logistical challenge, but the reception team, and in particular Noulhali, handled our large group with remarkable patience and efficiency. They meticulously checked everyone's passports and swiftly allocated our rooms, making the check-in process surprisingly smooth. This level of service was truly appreciated.
The rooms themselves were impeccably clean and well-maintained. All the essential amenities were provided, ensuring a comfortable overnight stay. We were particularly impressed with the overall cleanliness and attention to detail, making the rooms feel fresh and welcoming.
After settling in, we decided to have dinner at the hotel restaurant. The garden area provided a pleasant and relaxed atmosphere. While we were slightly disappointed to find a few items on the menu unavailable, the food we did order was delicious. I highly recommend the Shrimp Pil Pil – it was a truly mouthwatering dish, packed with flavour and perfectly cooked. Despite the limited availability of some menu items, the quality of the food we received was undeniable.
Overall, our stay at the Onomo Hotel Casablanca Airport was exactly what we needed. It provided a comfortable and convenient base for our overnight stay before our flight. The friendly and efficient staff, particularly Noulhali, the clean and well-equipped rooms, and the delicious food (especially the Shrimp Pil Pil!) all contributed to a positive experience. If you're looking for a reliable and affordable hotel near Casablanca Airport, the Onomo Hotel is an excellent choice. We wouldn't hesitate to...
Read moreNo sign where to meet the shuttle. I emailed days prior to arrival to request shuttle information but no response. The driver was nice and helpful with the luggage. Mediocre front desk customer service: I landed around 8 am and made it to the hotel so tired around 10 am. When I asked the receptionist about check-in, she said that I have to wait until noon to be able to get into my room. Then when I told her that I'm tired and I need a room, she said to me that I have to pay an extra fee (about 100 MAD). While I understand that their check-in has a specific time, I think she could have offered me the room at no charge as the room was already ready. $10 is not a big deal to get my rest but I think it would have meant a lot to me when I was so tired of traveling for 16 hours. Room condition: My room was small. The shower temperature wasn't consistent. The bed was hard as a rock. I woke up with back pain the following day. Pillows were weak and not well stuffed. Toilet paper was just a tiny used roll (using a used toilet paper during a pandemic). I found hair and stains in the bed as well as a lot of dust under it. Not all staff members were wearing a mask. The receptionist who works the night shift was hanging out in the restroom without a mask. No signs where it says to wear masks in the restaurant but only in the elevators. Lack of staff. Every time I went to the restaurant to get my food, had to wait for hours to get my food. There was only one person serving the food ( and probably prepping the food) Expensive food. If you end up staying at this place, remember to bring your own snacks/food because it's outrageously expensive to eat at this place. Expect to pay $8 for a medium size bottle of water that normally costs $.60. The quality food wasn't consistent. The hotel was convenient to the airport but not to anything else. It was nice not to go on a long ride to get to the hotel when I arrived, but when the need arose to go to a nearby grocery store, it was not possible. The hotel is located in an industrial zone and going to the city is difficult...
Read moreI am really disappointed with my recent experience at Onomo Hotel Airport Casablanca it was the worst experiences I have ever had in my life . The reception Agent ,Abderhman refused to give me the room I had already booked and paid for through Booking.com for two person with a twin beds unfortunately I was shocked by the way I was treated upon arrival.
Abderhman raised his voice at me and spoke in a very disrespectful manner, which is absolutely unacceptable in a professional hospitality setting.
In front of other guests, he ignored me ,he disrespected me, shouted at me, and spoke to me as if I were his friend or someone he knew personally not a hotel guest. He made me wait more than three hours, with no resolution and no access to my confirmed booking. even though I had just arrived from a long trip, driving from another city, tired and needing rest.
Instead of offering solutions or escalating the matter to a responsible manager he said that there no body available at the moment to spoke to and saying to me that I create for him a headache . In addition to that he told me in an unprofessional way: “If you want the room, go bring the (gendarmes), otherwise I will not give you the room .
Because of this situation, I had no choice but to leave the hotel in the middle of the night and went to another place , despite already having a valid reservation at your property.
In front of other guests, he disrespected me, shouted at me, and made me wait more than three hours, even though I had just arrived from a long trip, driving from another city, tired and needing rest for few hours to catch my flight in the early morning .
This behavior does not reflect the good image that Onomo Hotel should represent. Frankly, Abderrahman is not only disrespectful to guests but also damages the reputation of the hotel he works for.
I strongly request that you take the necessary action regarding this matter, because no guest should go through such an experience. For my part, I cannot recommend this hotel to anyone if they will be assissted by him after what...
