A lot of potential: brand new hotel, big and very clean rooms with nice bathrooms and well equipped (except no hdmi port on tv but those are nowhere to be found in Morocco)||BUT||With a 3/4 empty hotel, management and receptionist still place customers in the most noisy rooms they have. The hotel faces a roundabout that connects 2 national roads: trucks, buses and cars 24/7 with horns that start at 6am. I live in Manhattan and trust me, I couldn’t sleep at this hotel after 6:30am (and it was Sarurday morning). You absolutely have to avoid the rooms that face the road and pray that Management and receptionist have more consideration for their customers. Terrible for a 4-star hotel. ||The restaurant: a shame ! Prix fixe menu (180dh) with 2 choices of starters, entrees and desserts. Not bad if everything weren’t frozen food heated up. Absolutely nothing was fresh or homemade. |For breakfast: no fruit at all. Terrible for a...
Read moreThe staff here was very nice. The hotel was decent, upon first glance this hotel appeared to be of high status but small issues changed my outlook of the hotel. The a/c didn’t seem to be functioning properly and the room was very warm. The hotel wasn’t generous with towels, when asked for more they said they can’t not provide more; perhaps they had a policy on towels I was unaware of. The buffet at the hotel was subpar, there was a limit of one free drink per person and every drink thereafter was a price of 20 Dirham. At one point the room keys stopped working despite having never been close to any electronics devices. ||Unfortunately this hotel is not walking distance to restaurants or entertainment. You will have to take a taxi if you want to get to downtown Tetouan. There is a park about a mile away to which you can walk and enjoy...
Read moreGood tourist class hotel. Large room with stone floor (more on that later). Large bed with good pillows. Room has fridge and a kettle. Good natural light and a small balcony. Internet easily accessible and fast. The bathroom is large and includes a bidet. The shower is over a bath, which would make accessibility a challenge for those with mobility issues.||Three things let this hotel down. The stone floors were noisy. Footsteps, loud voices and furniture being moved from other rooms could be heard. The heater/cooling wasn’t very effective and the breakfast was disappointing.||The hotel is next to a depot site that is a bit noisy when they start work in...
