Lodge Quinta do Lourenço — Hotel in Maputo Province

We stayed over in July 2023 - none of the beds were made - we booked 4 rooms and only ine had proper bedding - when we got in our room the toilet was ‘used’ and not flushed - we ate at the restaurant and although the food was good, the prices were exorbitant - My teenage son wanted a ‘virgin coctail’ and we were charged the same as a normal coctail - The owner was rude to the staff, Was constantly around and only helpfull when she opened the gate for us to leave - The setting and atmosphere was very nice with the sunset and gardens - however a great pity that the owner (Maria) runs a sloppy house and the rooms felt dirty and the bedding felt as if it was slept on the...

Was there today for lunch. Didn't try the lodging, although the owner showed us a suite and it is quite reasonable. No luxury, but acceptable. Now the food was delicious. Caldeirada is highly recommended. One has to wait quite a bit. But, if you have some appetizer, order a portion for 2 for 3 or 4. Otherwise, half of it is leftover. Unless you want to...

We visited the restaurant for my hubby's bday. Loved the romantic ambiance, white curtains and dim lights. The food was excellently prepared. Fresh fish, not previously frozen, desserts was cheesecake and brownies with the most decadent chocolate sauce. Be prepared to match pay a bit more for the quality food...
