I wanna give 4* out of 5*. The room is clean and wide enough including bathub which I love most in there.Hot and cold water system also included . We enjoyed there in 2 nights and no time for boring . Our room view is so nice and thanks for giving me this room . The resort has the good chiefs , thus you can order any food item without doubt ! and Reasonable price too. There is no much to enjoy in the resort , only you can do is riding the duck boat in the lake , elephant camp , mini golf , walking in the resort and enjoy wooden village . Area is too far from one another and the guest house , you need bicycle or buggy . Car isn't allowed to drive in the compound . If you choose to walk , should do in the early morning or evening to avoid hot weather. But will be a good place for those who wanna escape from your work or home or environmental stress . Wifi is good at night time , but daytime its speed is slow and sometime cannot connect.
Here is my suggestion ! need water pump ( pressure pump ) in the all bathroom water system . I notice only toilet has this system . I have difficulties in washing my long hair under the weak flow water .
Free breaskfast should change to buffet breakfast even how many guests per night . because with this room price , breakfast buffet should include in my opinion. ( they said because of few guests , they cannot serve buffet breakfast and we are allowed to choose one main menu and a juice or...
Read moreVery nice place and nature is cautiously conserved with plenty of staffs. Restaurant is big and has many options to choose with less MSG (many restaurants in Myanmar use MSG a lot). However, it is a bit pricey compared with other local restaurants. There is a boat ride as an outdoor activity, but not recommended unless u swim well since the life vest they provided is not safe at all and not up to the standard. Dirty as well. A walk around the place is very exhausting if u do it in 35 ‘C but u can enjoy the mesmerizing view of the natural landscape, lake and animals. Hotel seems expensive but worth it if you can afford their price. The most interesting part is innumerable statues handcrafted from wood by professionals. They are everywhere and looks very wonderful. Don’t miss that out. Overall, the place is very special for a day escape since it closes to Yangon, like 2 hr drive...
Read moreShwe Pyi Resort is part of KMA hotel groups, they have other hotels in Bagan, Toungoo and this resort in Bago. Its great for those who don't want to travel far yet get a break from city life. We took the superior room for one night, they were having monsoon promotion. Ample use of bamboo and wood in the hotel rooms, its spacious and have high ceiling. The satellite was fixing during our stay so the TV didn't work. For the breakfast, they let us choose from their available items such as nan gyi thoke, htamin si san with nga chout etc and have them deliver at our requested timing in the morning. Area of improvement would be the bathroom, the water pressure isn't good at all. The staffs showed us the suite unit too. It has a kitchen for light cooking and a living room...
