We stayed in a bungalow, one of the most costly accommodation we have stayed in whilst in Myanmar. The bedroom structure was good, the bathroom was something else, taps hanging off, hardly any water flow, brown water marks everywhere and not clean! The towels and sheets were more brown colour than white and smelt strongly of moth balls. Breakfast was not particularly appetizing, with cold noodles or rice, although eggs were cooked fresh! Dirty tablecloths and dirty dishes left around, it was as though the staff were not interested, very little English is spoken! It is also a long way out of town. We ate at the Golden Cock on the cross roads, it seemed even the guides were taking their clients there rather than the hotel restaurant! The only good thing we found was the river view, with great sunsets. Save your money and find elsewhere...
