Stayed here for two nights. The hostel is located next to a main road, and it was easy to get my overnight bus (Yangon to hpa an) to drop me off in front of it.||The location is great - less than ten minute walk from the local night market and lake. There’s a pathway which you can take if you want to walk around the lake (I didn’t go see whether it goes all around it or not), but it would make for a nice walk.||Hostel feels newish. It’s pretty clean. The bathroom has waterfall showers and normal shower heads. They even have clothes drying racks, which is great. I pretty much had the whole room to myself during my stay in the 4-bed dorm. The locks on the lockers don’t work, so best to bring your own to lock the zippers on your luggage or backpack, if you’re concerned. Each bed has a private individual light and outlets as well, which is nice. There are some places to hang out in the basement floor.||The staff are young and super friendly. This one staff member was pretty chatty and created a nice social vibe. I booked a bus ticket to my next stop plus a couple of tuktuk trips out. Also easy enough joining others to split the cost of tours (one tuktuk for cave tours - 35000 kyat for the whole tuktuk, split amongst up to max 5 ppl).||They sell random snacks at reception (Korean instant noodles, anyone? :)) but probably good enough to satisfy your short-term snacking needs.||No issues with my stay and would come back again, if I passed by the...
