The hotel is very spacious, good pool, reasonable gym. Staff were very attentive and well presented. The main restaurant food was excellent with reasonable prices. Hardly find staffs speak English well.|Beautiful wildlife seen from the hotel: horn bills, monkeys and some squirrels, but there is no way to walk around the island despite the fact that they advertise having access to the 1,800 acres...

Wunderschöne Insel mit nur einem Resort mit wohl maximal vierzig Gästen. Strand sauber, Wasserqualität Spitze. Mögliche Hiking-Tour recht anspruchsvoll aber mit Führer auch gut zu bewältigen. Die einmalige Aussicht ist der Lohn. Unterkunft in schönen, sehr romantischen und sauberen Bungalows. Einfache Küche und außerordentlich fröhliches, charmantes und hilfsbereites Personal. Dass mal der Rot-Wein ausgeht oder der Generator streiken kann gehört zu Inselromantik. Tauchen mit Tauchcenter nicht mit 20 Personen gleichzeitig möglich. Eine einmalige Location für Leute die genau das suchen. Nichts für Personen die auf "haute cuisine" und jederzeit verfügbaren "high Luxus" stehen. MacLeod-Island wird ca. zwei mal pro Monat von Kreuzfahrtschiffen angefahren. Dann ist für ca. sieben Stunden "High Life" auf der Insel.
