As a business traveller I stayed in this hotel. Internet worked, staff helpful as well as friendly. Good breakfast with plenty of options. Clean very well equipped room. Iron and ironing board, hairdryer, safe. All things that are important that you don't need to think about. Whilst the hotel is a little bit out of the downtown, the hotel provided a free truck...yes truck to transport us all there. Taxis are hard to get in Mandalay and any journey has a basic price of 5$. Most of Mandalay closes at about 9pm so you don't really need to be downtown. Shwe Ye Mon hotel is newly open small hotel from Mandalay.So rooms and everything are fresh and clean.I stayed there 3 times within 2 months.Most staff are helpful and respect to all local and foreign visitors.Room rate are pretty economy than other Mandaly hotels even better rooms and breakfast.Surrounding is a little bit far from downtown Mandalay and located at small street.So cannot hear noisy motor bike and car horn sound like other Mandalay hotels.breakfast is ok for both local and foreigners.Car parking also quite ok.Only bad thing is smelling dirty surrounding near...
