Great Wall Hotel Mandalay — Hotel in Mandalay District

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ got a free upgrade! The hotel just did some renovations for the rooms and hotel lobby. Very impressed by the full teak decoration. Breakfast is typical of what you get in Mandalay but excellent customer service with very warm and helpful staffs! The spa is also undergoing a renovation when I stayed there so didn’t get a chance to try but look forward to coming back again on my next visit! It is really great hotel, I stay two nights in Great Wall Hotel. The hotel is a little bit old but they had been good maintaining. Everything was fine for me, especially spectacular suite room. All staffs were friendly as well as polite. They assisted graciously for my SIC sightseeing ( share sightseeing ) to famous destinations where is not far from hotel. The breakfast was mixed with a good choice of Western and Asian food. Great city, great hotel with lovely staffs, If I have a chance, I will sure...

El hotel está pensado para el público Chino, y está regentado por chinos. No tengo nada en su contra, pero por ejemplo en el desayuno cuesta encontrar algo adaptado a nuestros gustos... ||||El hotel en si no está mal, las habitaciones son muy amplias y en la planta 1 están recientemente renovadas. El baño también es muy completo. Hay televisión de plasma y aire acondicionado. Con respecto al aire acondicionado hay que destacar algo surrealista, y es que para encenderlo hay que subirse a una silla y darle a un interruptor de la corriente que está a la altura de la maquina, cerca del techo, Esto no sería más que una simple anecdota si no fuera porque en Mandalay son bastante frecuentes con cortes de electricidad, y cada vez que la luz se iba y venía había que repetir el show de la silla.||||Las habitaciones que dan a la calle son un problema ya que el rudio del trafico es constante y dificulta el sueño||||El hotel está muy muy muy lejos de todo, está situado en una calle con mucho tráfico y para llegar al centro hay que caminar casi una hora, con el problema añadido de que el tráfico y las aceras de la ciudad que están llenas de agujeros complican mucho el paseo... Otro inconveniente añadido a esto es que en Mandalay casi no hay taxis, asi que si te quedas en este hotel, te quedarás un poco tirado ya que no hay nada a su alrededor y está lejos de todo. Para cenar la única opción es el restaurante del hote, que, como no podìa ser de otra forma es un restaurante chino.||||Resumiendo, el hotel en si no está mal, pero esta muy muy...
