Service was not good as I expected. Took around 30 mins for check-in process. We booked 2 rooms and stayed only 2 nights even tho we needed to stay more. We booked one day first and next day at 9 am we extended for the second day at the same price as the first day (I did confirm the price with the staff first) and asked if payment could be made around 4-5 pm as we needed to be at somewhere by 9 am and we were late already. They informed that we can make the payment when we check out…. When my brother came back to the hotel first at 4:30 pm and tried to go up to the room, realised they deactivated the rooms key cards. Had to go back to reception to reactivate and the reception told me brother we didn’t extend another day. Then why they think we left our stuffs in the rooms and never came back until 4/5 pm ? I came back around 5:30 pm and I had to wait another 30 mins to reactivate my access card again and I needed to go out by 6:00 pm and had no time to get ready and all. Wasted my time. This is not all, they said second day room rate had increased and asked 20,000 kyats more per room which was 40,000 kyats. That was ridiculous. I would not mind paying that money if they said it was the price when I did the extension. I felt like scammed and had to confront with the staff. It was frustrating. I was barely at the hotel in these 2 days but almost every minutes of my time there was spent for confronting them and waiting for the check-in/ card activation processes. The breakfast buffet was good but you need to be non-stop eating and/or watching your plates. Once you stop eating and/or look away (not walk away) , the staff will just keep the plates. My brother went to toilet and I was still at the table, I just looked at my phone for a message and looked up a min later, my brother’s plates with full of foods are gone. Not only was the dining experience outstanding, but the housekeeping services were also top-notch. Pyae Sone Naing and the housekeeping team kept the room impeccably clean, creating a comfortable and hygienic atmosphere for guests.
