Mountain View Hill Resort — Hotel in Mindat District

I didn't stay there actually because the rooms were fully booked. The rest of our tour group (17 pax) stayed there (3 of us had to stay at Sky Palace Hotel up on the mountain). So this review is based on my experience while I was there at check in time and dinner time.||Friendly owner (5 stars)|Well... This mountain View Hill Resort is a lovely hotel with a very friendly owner lady. She welcomed us warmly when we arrived. Treated us some tea and pickled tea leaf salad before our group checking in (before I moved to the other hotel). She was sorry for not getting us one another room. Her hospitality was above and beyond.||Food (4 stars)|We had dinners for 2 nights there and the owner lady cooked the meals herself and the taste was amazing. She is a very good chef as well.||Drinks (1 star)|No bar.|They have local wine and liquor, but I won't suggest it. Stayed in one of the bungalows, which was very clean and comfortable. Water pressure was a bit low and the floor drainage was a bit slow, but that didn't really bother me much.||The staff was more than helpful and assisted me as best they could. Best to speak to the manager directly who speaks good English. ||I was traveling alone and instead of booking a tour to Mt. Victoria the manager arranged for me to tag along with another group staying at the hotel that already had their own van and tour guide. Additionally, he arranged for me to join a family going to Bagan so I wouldn't have to hire a separate driver for myself. ||Would definitely stay here again if I go back, and I will go back if only to see the scenery up on Mt....

Room are clean and the hotel owner is so friendly . One thing difficult for me is that the car parking is too far from our room that i climb many stair to reach to the reception. 24hr electricity is available here and you can get hot and cold water here.
