Heritage Bagan Hotel is a beautiful property at a close distance of the Bagan Airport. the hotel provides airport pick up and drop facility. It is situated at a distance of 7 Km from Old Bagan Heritage Area (which is the best way to do it considering it safeguards the sanctity of temples and religious ruins which are also being considered as the next UNESCO Heritage Crown). It is a luxury property with deluxe rooms, suits, spa, gym, an amazingly beautiful pool with Jacuzzi, dining hall. The rooms are built in ancient looking brick red buildings. The rooms are absolutely spotless. the beds are soft as cotton. Each room has a beautiful balcony overlooking the well kept garden where seasonal flowers bloom. Room are spacious. Washroom has a bathtub. Rooms have huge LED TVs with English channels. Wifi works fine at every corner of the property.
E bikes can be hired from the hotel. Staffs are way beyond helpful, graceful and always smiling. From early morning wake up call to patiently showcasing the sprawling property, they did it all for us!
The green canopy of the hotel is well designed and plays the perfect background to photo shoot. In fact I found a local couple going on with their pre-bridal photo shoot inside the property.
Excellent breakfast is served along with special menu including India options. The hotel also has a spa where couple massage room is also present. It is expanding by day with more luxurious suits being added. The pool is stunning and can be used till 8 pm. Overall, it is a luxurious Resort styled luxurious property, nestled in the iconic greenery of Myanmar, wrapped in tranquility. Cannot recommend it enough! Must visit...
Read moreWhen we arrived at the hotel at around 9 am, they allowed us to check in right away. How nice! They offered reasonable price for ebike, say, half day for $4, a full day for $7. Besides ebike, they offered various tours and English-speaking private guides as well. As it was high season, the hotel were fully booked, but most guests were from group tours, so sometimes the breakfast room was totally occupied by them. We had to wait for a while until they finished, but it's fine. And we could see the staff bustling around, doing their best to refill food, tea, everything. Also, the house-keeping staff were very nice and attentive to our needs. We had a three-night stay there, we felt the hotel is well run. But there's still one thing about hotel facilities left to be desired-- the fitness room was too small, compared with its scale. All in all, it's good...
Read moreTo be honest, I was bit concerned before the visit becauase this place has lesser number of reviews compared to the well known resorts of Bagan.
But went ahead with the booking as it is a new hotel and the great reviews this place is getting just in few months is phenomenal.
After my stay, I can vouch for each and every one of them.
Pros: Sprawling and green property with aesthetically designed rooms
Prompt and cordial service even in peak season
The pool and the sun deck is envious.
E-bike and tuk tuks were available round the clock, literally 24 Hours.
Cons: This place is not located midst the bustle of the town center. So you need to take a quick ride on tuk tuk or ebike to reach the town. Gives the place a much needed sense of peace for tourists, but may entail a bit of travel for...
