First of all, I looked for this hotel specifically when I booked for it months ago. I loved it 110% when I was here last year with my best friend. It’s located near the Gardens, cute designs and comfy beds. I clearly remember great service from the staff and good one plate hot meals for breakfast. Unfortunately, it was almost all gone. The hotel is still located near the gardens and still got nice designs and comfy beds! ||We pay 100,000 kyats per night with the service and facilities of a 25,000 kyats hotel. Breakfast does not have a lot of choice and cold! The one-plate-hot meals I mentioned earlier is long gone. Not even cereals or variety of fruit is present. The numbers of internal landlines are a total disaster (see pic below) moreover, the owner’s family is in and out of the hotel, and the kids have breakfast next to us. The rooms need serious maintenance; the bathroom is moldy, so is the bathtub (I could scratch the mold off with my fingernails!!!) the tiles are moldy, the toilet hose is almost broken, the mosquito screens aren’t there (only the frames left, for god knows what) and then telephone is for children (you can’t use it standing up! The cord is too short) ||I asked to see the owner but he isn’t “around” to comment. This person needs to wake up and fix the failed management for the fact that I won’t ever go back again or recommend anyone from going ever again! || He needs to do himself a favor and watch Gordon Ramsay’s Hotel Nightmare since it’s a hotel right out of...
Read moreWe booked the hotel in well advance for 3 families total of 13 with 7 adults and 6 children’s ages range from 2 to 13. We booked for 4 large rooms with extra beds and adjacent rooms. It was all good on the phone and all set. When we arrive it has nice gardens nice set up. But found out 2 rooms were too small to have extra beds but charge the same price as larger rooms. Even larger rooms werent large enough for family of 4 with kids. Ok, we accept the room sizes but it wasn’t explained when we booked. We have to put up with it as there is no other alternatives. We can live with small rooms but when we got into our room bed sheets were dirty have to request to change new set. Toilets were no different. When multiple rooms are using, my 2 years old can wee more than the taps can deliver. Hot water was wait a while. Ok patient and we showered under dripping pressure. Then the night came and rooms are noise magnet. You can hear ppl talking from miles. Lights from the garden spilling through curtains not fitted properly. Overall we can accept the conditions if the price is halved. This place is over rated and over priced. Even the restaurant was expensive and portions are tiny. Balconies are spacious but without heaters pretty much useless during winter. This place is a over rated over priced hotel with...
Read moreOur stay at the hotel was absolutely delightful! The atmosphere was peaceful, with lush greenery all around, creating a serene and relaxing environment. The owner and his family went above and beyond to ensure we had a comfortable and memorable stay.
Being new to the area, we didn’t know much about the city, but they were incredibly helpful in arranging everything for us. They even connected us with their wonderful driver, who took us around and recommended must-visit places.
The staff were incredibly respectful, attentive, and always ready to assist with anything we needed. Their hospitality truly exceeded our expectations.
We had such a fabulous holiday and are already looking forward to returning to the city and staying here again. Thank you so much, Akikomi, for making our...
