Pristine Lotus Resort, Inle — Hotel in Taunggyi District

===Overall===||You feel like you're in a painting. The landscape architecture and the rooms were all stunningly beautiful. I strongly recommend this hotel to couples and families looking for some peace and quiet in unique wooden boat-hotel rooms. ||||===Room===||Extremely cozy with great views. Also has a bathtub. Beautiful room made of wood. There is a caveat for the rooms being on a lake though. Mosquitoes. Lots of them. The room had a electric mosquito repellent and a mosquito net over the bed. Nonetheless, good idea to bring your own repellent that you can spray on to your skin. You'll need it during your trip in Myanmar anyways. ||||===Service===||Very helpful hotel staff and friendly restaurant staff. ||||===Food===||We had breakfast and dinner here. Both had variety and were tasty. Their wine was pretty good too!! ||||===Drinks===||The hotel bar didn't disappoint either. There were drinks on happy hour that were very unique and affordable. ||||===Location===||Located on the west side of the river. There's nothing much in the vicinity, which makes the hotel extra serene and quiet. I think you can rent a bike from the hotel but we asked to arrange a boat/canoe taxi to do the standard tour of Inle Lake as well as when we wanted to go to the "downtown area", located north of the lake. The purpose of our trip was to decompress and relax so the serenity of the hotel was perfect for us. The hotel has a spa and massage parlor but we didn't sign up for that. If you are looking for more parties and nightlife, then maybe this hotel is not the best choice for you and I recommend looking for hotels on the main road north...

Our stay at Pristine Lotus Resort was exceptional. From check in to check out, we were taken good care of. The service was outstanding from every member of staff we encountered: friendly, welcoming and knowledgeable. We had no communication problems and would not fault the service at all. The resort itself is just beautiful. The rooms are clean and spacious and serviced regularly. Views from the Lake side are fantastic. The hotel recommended a guide and provided us a boat for a tour of the lake for the day which we were very happy with. Their spa service and back massage was also great. No faults with the resort whatsoever and we would highly recommend staying here should you...

All good but a bit soulless. Cavernous dining hall and bar tucked in by the entrance to the dining hall. So no view, no sundowners. The WiFi performance of vouchers and time expiry codes is absurd for a hotel like this. I am afraid in these days to use the "tranquility " excuse not to provide WiFi in the rooms just doesn't cut it. Forcing people into public areas to connect is an inconvenience . The rooms can't be faulted, the grounds are beautiful on the other side of the road, the staff are very well trained and friendly. Organising something is easy at reception. Would I recommend this hotel? The answer is yes, the issues cited in the beginning are not...
