Pathi Hotel — Hotel in Taungoo District

Hotel is quite new and the lady owner was there most times to ensure that guests were well taken care of. She speaks very good English. Rooms are clean and had everything you need, short of a shower curtain. But we found out during our stay at various hotels in Myanmar that shower curtains are not commonly used. We had dinner at the hotel restaurant. Food was delicious and prices reasonable. There’s nothing very much to do or see around the hotel. Just on the edge of town, but you get the benefit of a lovely moat and rice fields views from the roof. |It actually is pleasant to not be on the main road like most of the other guest houses. Just a few minutes walk from the lake. ||Breakfast is simple with coffee and melon and fried rice, but she made us eggs and toast specially. |The views from the roof for sunset are on par with the lake view. The Dorm was new and the bed very confortable. The staff very friendly. The lady manager was not honest several Times. 1- i had to show the image on my phone of the price of accommodation online so she woudnt charge me triple price. 2 - She said she would offer me breakfast as a favor and online it was included in price. 3- Lastly i asked for bus info to Hpa An. She made a reservation without asking and insisted on me paying straight away. Well payed a ticket for a big confortable bus and ended up on a small, smelly and thats rains inside type of bus...
