Pepper Garden Resort — Hotel in Thaton District

Travelling with friends to golden rock arrived early in the morning around 2 am and we wanted to rest for few hours before going up to Golden Rock. We chose Pepper Garden Resort as the nice view near by the stream.When we arrived the reception staff said,we could take day use room but it will start from 5 am to 12 noon. ||We explained him we would like to take now at 2:30 am till 8am only because we are going up golden rock in the morning . It is the same 6 hours usage as day use. But reception staff could not decide and called to the manager and the manager Tin Tin Cho answered "no" . I requested to reception staff to called her again because we are only ladies traveller and just wanted to get few hours rest. And logically the day use for 6hours is the same 2:30 am till 8 am (or) 5am till 12noon . Because we are not staying till 12 noon. But when the staff called the manager again then she screamed to her staff in the phone we could even hear it . I don't undetstand what kind of management position that lady Tin Tin Cho is . No felxibility even though they have rooms. We are also hoteliers and never seen the management level who doesn't being flexible to sell room. But the ower should know this manager Tin Tin Cho behavior because this gives the resort bad image . Even resort itself is beautiful we will not recommend because of bad management . Train her how to treat her staffs and as well...

As we wanted to visit Golden Rock we were adviced by our hotel in Yangon to book at the Pepper Garden Resort. This hotel is located in the nature, so be prepared to fully chill out. the pool has gorgeous view on Golden Rock and the rooms are in tiny chalet like houses. the rooms are wide and clean, they have a minibar and tv, kettle for complimentary tea or coffee. great garden too with a nice frog concert to drift you gently to sleep at night.||Keep in mind you'll need a car to eat at a restaurant if you don't want to eat at the hotel restaurant. the staff is very helpful and friendly. as my auntie and I are scared of small geckos they came to chase a tiny one and released it in the garden.||||the restaurant menu has many options and the breakfast has different specialties.||keep in mind that August is low season in myanmar so it rains a lot and the hotel undergoes some maintenance so you might not be able to swim in the pool or...

Hill Resort hotel just beside the main road to hilltop very famous Kyaik Htee Yo golden rock pagoda,which is half an hour drive from hotel.There 8 delux double rooms which are quite spacious well furnished and 12 superior rooms; 4 rooms under one roof.Streams and waterfall in a close distance.

Pepper resort is created on more than 11 acres hilly land; so, visitors staying there can choose varieties of recreations,including Cycling, trekking ,climbing,bathing in natural Stream, campfire, etc.

It also has sprawing lawn,where kids can, safely play and a grand spacious dinning hall. Room rates are very reasonable.Espectially In the peak season time ie.,November to February the rates are very much lower than those hotels at the hilltop,which can't provide nice spacious rooms.
