Stayed in this hotel last year and was back again this year. The rooms are well maintained and they are still very clean. They do not have triple room and double room is too small for additional bed. We got to book a suite instead and paid USD5 more each daily than our friends who stayed in double room. Another friend stayed alone but got to pay the full amount for a twin, yet the hotel only provided 1 set of towels and toiletries.||||Staff was very friendly but not everyone knows English. We bought a small piece of cake and asked for candle. They brought out spoon. We tried charade and they brought out a fork.||||Breakfast was nice but I realized the selection was about the same on alternate days as we stayed for 7 nights.||||Rooms are not sound proof. My friends staying in the room opposite us can hear us flushing the toilet and even showering. There is a karaoke next door and u can hear people singing through the night. I couldn't sleep well one night as someone was playing drums till 4am!||||The hotel is located some 2km away from a supermarket. While walking there, we chanced upon another hotel which was opened 3 months ago and is able to take foreigners. It is much cheaper than Hotel Bo Bo Min though the floor is not carpetted and there is no lift. May try this hotel next year, as it is so much cheaper, nearer to the supermarket and with many...
Read moreThe hotel quite nice, new, and well kept. However, the staff are the strong points of this establishment! They are well-staffed in quantity and quality of personnel. They were very helpful and engaging with us clients. They seemed unafraid to engage English-speaking guests. And if they thought they may not have communicated clearly, rather than be embarrassed, they got another better-English-speaking staff member to make things clear. The breakfast selection and service are quite good. They cook eggs to order! There doesn't seem to be much to choose from as to nearby restaurants, but the hotel restaurant is quite adequate itself for lunch or dinner. The Internet service and wifi access to it is still a bit sketchy and slow, but that's par for the locale. And, yes, they are a fair distance from the downtown district but they are closer to the airport than downtown is. Fortunately for us, they were quite close to where we were conducting our business. Hotel Bo Bo Min is an overall...
Read moreHotel confirmed that we will be picked up at the airport. We arrived on time and there was no one waiting for us there. OUt of the 3 hotels we tried in Yangon, reception here understood english worst. Room smelled awful when we first opened the door, maybe because of the carpet that has been absorbing all the smell for years. ||We asked if Bogyoke Market was open on a monday and we were told it was. We arrived in Bogyoke Market in front of closed gates, and mind you, this hotel is far from the center. ||||Hotel seemed clean though and pillows are soft.||||You have better options at the center. Try the CLover City Center Plus Hotel - you are almost...
