Mother's Home Motel — Hotel in Yangon

My wife and me stayed at Mother's for 6 nights and really enjoyed our stay. Our third floor room was very clean and nice. Mothers has excellent security and hotel management are genuinely concerned about guests security and enjoyment. Mother's provide an excellent breakfast with a choice of Myanmar of western foods.||||We spent a lot of time exploring the area during daylight and at night and always felt safe. There is a huge and very authentic market nearby; you will not find it in any tourists guides.||||There is an outdoor restaurant close by (walk out the front door, turn right and walk appox 200 mtrs) under trees with excellent, well priced food. We walked to a nearby convenience store after 9.00 pm a few nights with no problems at all.||||Yangon central is only 10 to 15 minutes away by a nz $4.00 Grab taxi ride. If you are searching for a hotel near inle lake, STOP searching!!! This is the perfect place for you! The mother is the nicest and most helpfull person you could possibly meet! She knows the Best Restaurants and inle lake tours. She helps you with whatever she can. Super nice place! Can only recommend to stay there! Before we went to the Restaurant, she told us we should take her umbrellas, but we didn't. So it rained and then her husband picked us up☺️ He is also a very nice and gentle person. We stayed in the motel from 9-10th, Oct, 2018, It's a family run Motel with some staff. They provide free Airport to Motel return transport service, one of the reasons we picked this motel. Very friendly, hospitable, obliging. Doing their best to please us. Good location. We like the in house food of sea food noodle & fried rice. Good wifi. Except that there was no lift, so had to climb 3 flights of stairs to get to our room, but they were very obliging to change the room from 3rd floor to 2nd floor, which was a much bigger family room.
