Ngwekyal Guest House — Hotel in Yangon

Good for budget travelers. Clean rooms, have hot /cold shower. No insects, no mosquitoes. Have small dining place too. Serve beakfast included in room rate. But its not that what usual western breakfast. They serve fried rice and noodles( in Myanmar they eat rice/ noodles all the three meals ) you can get toast butter and jam on request. ( two slice) There are no good places around here to eat. But you can have good fresh fruits from street vendor very cheap. rooms rate abot $20. In june 2017. Staff is very helpful , find english speaking in bit challenging. But they undestand. I used google translate app. It worked. They do laundry too. Reasonable price. also they have generator too so power cut wont be a problem. Close to the air port. You can get taxi from here to downtown about 5000 to 8000 kyt. Depending on time. Morning is cheap. There is kareoki bar near by. Open in the evening serve good food. near by thirimingalar vegetable market. Whole sale place good to visit. See my views on those places. Solo estuvimos aquí porque al otro día debíamos estar de madrugada en el aeropuerto para volver. La habitación no está mal, pero alrededor del hotel no hay lugares donde comer que tengan menú en inglés o siquiera haya algo en inglés, por lo que se nos dificultó y tuvimos que comer en el hotel tanto almuerzo como cena.
