I had the pleasure of staying at Lapa Lange Game Lodge during my recent visit to Namibia, and it turned out to be one of the most tranquil and unforgettable experiences of the trip.
Nestled in the heart of the Kalahari, the lodge offers an authentic yet comfortable safari escape. From the moment I arrived, I was greeted with warm hospitality and an atmosphere that instantly made me feel at peace with nature. The thatched-roof chalets are beautifully appointed, offering stunning views of the waterhole—where wildlife like giraffes, antelope, and zebras gather daily. Watching animals from my veranda while sipping a morning coffee was a surreal experience.
The lodge’s restaurant served a delightful mix of local and international cuisine, and the staff made every meal feel personal and homely. Evenings were magical, especially around the fire pit under a starlit sky—one of the clearest skies I’ve ever seen.
A game drive organized by the lodge was a highlight, with experienced guides who shared fascinating insights about the wildlife and ecosystem. Whether you’re seeking a romantic getaway, a family-friendly adventure, or a solo escape into nature, Lapa Lange strikes the perfect balance between luxury and authenticity.
Highly recommended for anyone traveling through southern Namibia and wanting a true taste of its natural beauty and warm-hearted...

We saw the white rinos, ostriches, springboks, wildebeest and a lot of birds.. a lot.. all we could see in a beautiful sunset from our porch with a cigar and cocktails from the bar..
The service is outstanding and Juliana laughs a lot..
The food.. I tell you I'm not easy to be impressed but I would come back only for the food.. that same counts for the breakfast.. umpf I didn't want to leave..
Of course you can do a lot of activities, but we were so happy just to relax and watch the wildlife and of course spend some time with Olive the attention seeking doggy..
I didn't like the automated lawnmower with scary eyes at night and that the rooms were quite dark, but both had their purpose. The pool was not to my liking. It seemed to be in a wrong position and did not look nice in the entire environment..
They have chalets, tents, campsites.....
