Upon arrival, the first things that we noticed was the dirty floors of room 13 and 14 and insects roaming around!!!! We then checked the beds, the bedsheets were completely dirty with stains all over the sheet. Pillow covers were dirty too, certainly they were not changed after the previous guest check out. We then decided to call the reception few minutes to 10, they had left and there was no emergency number in the room. How do you expect us to sleep peacefully on dirty beds with a small baby for that matter?

My brother slept on the chair because he didn’t have a choice. We didn’t have a choice but to expose our poor infant to dirt.

Breakfast; breakfast was prepared and handed to us upon arrival because we were checking out at 4am, The apples were hard like rocks, bread was too dry and no salt for eggs.

Your mattress protectors -disgustingly dirty!

As it was very cold, we decided to turn on heating, it blows cold air. You are well aware that the water available is not safe for drinking but you only supply one bottle per room (knowingly one room was booked for two people). Our experience was bad!

This is one of the worst places We have stayed in....

We saw the reviews said the pizza was amazing so we went to give it a try (staying at the melissas hotel down the street as oppikoppi was full). The food took an hour to arrive because there was a big party in front of us, that was fine we could wait. But they forgot a salad we ordered. The burger was pretty good. Just fell apart so I had to use a fork and knife at the end. The disappointing part was the pizza. After an hour of waiting the pizza was undercooked and extremely sweet. I think it was the "tomato sauce" but it was unbearably sweet. Only could get through half of both the pizzas we ordered before the sweet was overpowering. I would avoid the pizza if I ate here again but maybe it was a bad batch of sauce and they just made a mistake with the undercooked part🤷‍♂️. Not sure. But there are plenty of other things on the menu...

Just a big "WOW" from our side. A perfectly maintained and beautiful rest camp, free of charge for overlanders with foreign number plates. You get your own spot with a covered kitchen area, sink, benches, table, and power supply. The toilets and showers are close by and in excellent condition. The restaurant offers a wide selection of outstanding meals at fair prices – and everything tastes absolutely great. Clear recommendation from us: 10/10.

Bad Bad Bad....we as tour guides/drivers...get the shortest stick in the this one. The room is not bigger than a wendyhouse with one window and 4 holes covered with guaze to keep mozzies and flies out....but not the cold. Winter is here people....make a plan. Toilets is outside the "guide room"...have to walk in the cold to and from the facillities that is +-40-60m away.
