River Chalets, Mariental — Hotel in Mariental

I recently camped at one of the River Chalets' Private Camping spots and can definitely recommend it if you are looking for somewhere to camp in the Mariental area. The private spots, of which there are only 2 available, have their own private ablutions, kitchenette and "braai" (BBQ) area, making your camping experience very comfortable. It's good to note that standard camping with shared ablutions is also available, as well as chalets for those who prefer not to camp. If you are looking to grab something to eat, there is a farm stall and restaurant (which is reviewed separately) within walking distance, offering tasty food and a nice play area for the kids. To top it all off, there's a refreshing pool area for those warm days, and the staff were friendly and helpful throughout our stay. The only reason I am not giving a higher rating is because of the lack of shade at the Private Camping spots. If they plant some trees this would significantly improve the experience. Despite this, we had a very enjoyable stay at River Chalets and if, in the future, I am looking for accommodation in the Mariental area, I will definitely...
