We stayed at the Mushara Outpost, the most luxurious of the three accommodation options offered by Mushara. The style is both elegant and welcoming. During the winter months, the main hall with a long dining table invites guests to relax in a cozy atmosphere with comfortable sofas and fur throws. In summer, the elegant and refined outdoor patio becomes the perfect spot to unwind.
The rooms are open tents with small vents at the top, allowing you to fall asleep to the soothing sounds of the savanna. There is also a viewing area where you can observe animals and this lodge is only few km far from the Etosha Park. The staff provides attentive and personalized service, and the food is exceptional.
A special thank you goes to the staff: Helena, Phoebe, and Paulus, who kindly escorted us to our room when we heard lion roars in the distance, ensuring our safety and comfort. If you are looking for a guide for a safari, we highly recommend Petrus. Thanks to his expertise, we had the privilege of witnessing a dramatic hunting scene between lions and cheetahs in Etosha Park before anyone else.

Read moreWe had just left the western part of Etosha National Park from Ongava Camp and it took quite a long time....4 hours to drive 190 Km. We saw hundreds of animals along the way mostly being springbok but the elephants were awesome as well. OK,,,, Mushara Outpost was really great even though it was only 2 nights. First day/night we just stayed at camp and enjoyed the very nice accommodations. Great bed with netting around to keep out the mosquitoes although, I rarely saw any mosquitoes our entire trip as it was/is the dry season. Food was good...no complaints there. The highlight of my stay was being with a local woman guide, Ute. I believe her name is Germanic and I'll copy her picture below. I was alone with her for the late afternoon game drive where we saw wonderful herds of elephants and leopards as well as the uncountable springbok and ostriches and a type of stork. Hornbills. I've got so many pictures, I'll never get through them all. Ute is great and I wished I knew her as a friend! Back to Mushara....I would go back to...
Read moreWith three nights and we really really enjoyed it. The staff was dedicated, polite and very professional. The food was truly excellent and we’re very thankful for the experience..||Starting from here, we took six game drives with their guide Imelda into the international national Park . The car was well kept and Imelda made sure that we saw as many animals as possible. Things weren’t easy because the bush was extremely green due to the strong rainforest, but we still saw all the big species of the park, including elephant, black rhino, lion, cheetah, and even a leopard with a car, which was extreme luck. Added to that many many different bird species. It was always exciting every single time.||The last word regarding the standards of the camp, this is extremely luxurious and quite impressive so far away from everything .||Thank you to all the staff of...
