We had an amazing 3 nights. The best thing about Namutoni is that it's in Etosha. The campsites are grassy with everything you need. The facilities are run down and shoddy. Sad that a government facility is being neglected by a government who should know their economy thrives on places like this and tourism. The restaurant and all the surrounding facilities was average with an urgent need of cleaning and updating. Etosha was the highlight of our Namibian holiday and so the 4 stars relate more to this experience than Namutoni itself. Next time we will stay in a private reseve outside the park, sadly. A special shout out to Fatima who gave us a wonderful game drive, was very friendly and...

The Namutoni Fort is in a disgraceful state of disrepair and Etosha's road signs are either illegible or no longer in existence. What a shame this national treasure has been left in the hands of the idiots running NWR. Why have two shops at Namutoni? Instead on focussing on new entry gates and new lodges inside the park look after the infrastructure that already exists.... This may go a long way to offering a quality product to the many folk who would love to visit and...
