Etotongwe Lodge offers an authentic Namibian experience that embraces nature, wildlife, and the charm of the African landscape. Nestled in the heart of the region, this lodge provides a perfect blend of relaxation and adventure for travelers seeking an off-the-beaten-path escape.

From the moment you arrive at Etotongwe Lodge, you're enveloped in the serene beauty of the surroundings. The lodge's layout and design seamlessly blend with the natural environment, creating an immediate connection with the wilderness. The accommodations, ranging from rustic chalets to camping options, cater to different preferences while retaining an air of simplicity.

The lodge's proximity to wildlife-rich areas is a major highlight. Game drives and excursions offer the chance to witness Namibia's unique fauna up close. The expertise of the guides adds to the experience, providing insights into the animals and the ecosystem.

While Etotongwe Lodge offers an authentic wilderness experience, some guests have suggested minor improvements in terms of facilities and service consistency. However, these aspects do not overshadow the overall sense of adventure and immersion.

In summary, Etotongwe Lodge is a gateway to Namibia's wild beauty. Its harmonious blend of nature, comfortable accommodations, and wildlife encounters make it a captivating destination. With attention to minor enhancements, Etotongwe Lodge could become an even more enticing haven for those seeking an authentic...

Although this lodge is 100km away from Etosha (about an hour) it was still a great place to stay. The staff here were just lovely, friendly and helpful - especially after we discovered a large spider in our room. We were able to park very close to our lodge which meant it was easy to load up with cameras etc for our game drives in Etosha. On our first night there weren't many visitors and got to order from the main menu - I had an amazing pizza. For the following few nights a coach party of German people had booked in and the meals on the following nights were both buffet style meals that featured German food - not too much of an issue though as we managed to find something each mealtime that we liked. The take away breakfast option was great an allowed us to make an early start visiting Etosha. One evening we had a visit for a local group of singers that were excellent, although we wish we'd have known in advance as we didn't have a lot of money on us to give them a fair tip.||I found the lights throughout amusing - they looked like the ghosts from PacMan.||Service was a little a slow at times, especially when ordering drinks which had to be brought up from the bar area to the restaurant. This seemed to be an issue with the limited number of staff trying to accommodate such a large coach party as well as...

Unfortunately this was one of the worse places I've been in a really long time. When we arrived we had to wait for at least 15 minutes for someone to come to the reception... There was a client that was sitting there saying "you can't complain about service if there isn't any"- instant red flag

Unfortunately the room was not cleaned, there was stains all over the bedsheets , the towels were wet and smelled used and definitely not cleaned, also the room had a strong toilet detergent smell, the air con was ridiculous as was the tv(people with bad sight would not be able to see a thing) Now with the bar and restaurant I had ordered a juice with a glass the glass was so dirty I decided to drink straight out of the bottle with a straw, the food took at least 2 hours to arrive at our table and it was a simple pizza and when it arrived the cutlery was all stained and dirty and we definitely did not want to eat the food. The place has great potential but unfortunately not ran and not enough effort put into it. This was at the lodges note I do not know how...

A lovely Lodge set in a great location. On the main route. It is easily accessible and visible. The rooms are adequate and very spacious. Inter-leading doors can connect two chalets. Great for families. It is not so good if the two chalets have different guests. One can hear the next door guest chatting. 😕 A bar refrigerator is also lacking. The restaurant, bar, and lounge areas are great. A beautiful swimming for the hot days is a welcomed relief. Wi-fi is needed at the chalets. Presently only at reception, restaurant, bar and swimming pool area. The food was absolutely delicious. Cosy, warm atmosphere in the restaurant. The log fire was very welcoming. A must stop and stay-over when in Oujo, Namibia.

Etotongwe Lodge in Outjo is a great stopover with plenty to offer. The rooms are spacious, comfortable, and well-kept, making for a relaxing stay. Their dinner buffet impressed me with a wide variety of choices, and breakfast was just as satisfying. The location is also very strategic—perfect for travelers heading toward Etosha or passing through Outjo. I didn’t get the chance to try out the bar as I was too tired, but overall, the lodge delivers excellent value. I’d give it a solid 4 out of 5 and strongly recommend spending a night here if you can.

We stayed here for two nights as part of an organized tour. This was a more basic accommodation than the others we stayed at but we had everything we needed. Free Internet access is available in the main building. There's a pool and a bar. Food was pretty good. About 1h to Etosha National Park.
