Despite initial promise, Kupferquelle's management left us deeply disappointed by reneging on a promised refund for a medically necessary cancellation, showing a lack of professionalism and empathy.||In more detail, de stayed at many hotels and resorts across Africa during our multi-month overland trip, so we were excited to recharge at Kupferquelle, which had good reviews and appeared to be a professional, welcoming establishment. We chose it especially for my wife, who had experienced a small accident, making it difficult for her to walk, and as I also needed easy access to medical support.||However, upon arrival, we discovered that our booked room was located over 200 meters from the main facilities, including the restaurant. Given our medical situation, this was impractical. We explained this to the reception team, who initially were very understanding and agreed to cancel our booking without penalty and assured us we would receive a full refund. Relieved, we arranged an alternative stay elsewhere.||Unfortunately, this is where things took a disappointing turn. Despite filling out forms and exchanging a dozen emails over several months, we had to repeatedly follow up, only to finally be informed by management—four months later—that refunds were against their policy. This was a complete reversal of what we were promised.||While the reception staff was friendly and helpful, we feel the management handled this situation unprofessionally. The lack of transparency and prolonged delay in communication were frustrating, especially given Kupferquelle’s reputation for high-quality service. We had expected better customer care, especially considering the medical nature of our request.||We hope this review helps future travelers to be mindful of not only the amenities and photos but also the quality of service and responsiveness of management. We would advise other travelers to consider how customer satisfaction and empathy are prioritized, especially in unforeseen...

First of all, if you are black, do not bother with this place. These were the words told to my brother today : 'we are thinking of not letting locals stay at dross anymore'.. As someone that is born in Tsumeb, I KNOW they mean black people. This is actually the reason why most of us do not go there anymore. kupferquelle has a very racist management, which intern influences their employees behaviour. I have NEVER been to this establishment and there wasn't an issue. FYI, iv been to over 40 countries, and this is one of the worst services. They prioritise foreigners, and whites. imagine a couple complaining about noise from a group of 18 people camping together. I even had to ask, so basically we can't even talk, we should just sit around the fire quietly? YOU DO NOT HAVE TO BAN US, WE WERE NOT COMING BACK ANYWAY. Just a few days prior, my friend who owns a hospitality school complained about your service too, waitresses were downright RUDE. They even walked away when he asks a simple request, SIMPLY BECAUSE HE IS BLACK!!! he finally said, no wonder such a beautiful place is empty. SERVICE IS RIDICULOUS , UNLESS YOU ARE WHITE. mental slavery in an independent country leaves me dumbfounded. How many people have you banned at that PRECIOUS PLACE OF YOURS?.. WHITES MAKE NOISE ALL THE TIME AT THOSE CAMPS, BUT YOU ARE TOO SCARED OF THEM TO SAY ANYTHING. and u actually thought a ban would be...

GREAT stay at Kupferquelle Resort! We stayed on the campsite with our 4x4 camper. Beautiful ablution facilities: private with shower and toilet.

Dros restaurant is amazingly good. Great food for a fair price. They serve dinner until they close, breakfast is also available until late. Super friendly staff in the restaurant! Great service.

Supermarket and liquor store on their premises. Both super beautiful stores, supermarket has its own bakery, butcherie and wine cellar.

We had a view in the family rooms and suites as well. They are AMAZING. Very nice decorated, clean and big. All possible facilities available.

Swimming pool is very clean and olympic size. Great for a cool down after a hot day. Super friendly reception and management staff.

MUST STAY if you are leaving Etosha from the Von Lindequist Gate (Namutoni camp) or search for a place to stay in the Grootfontein area. If you pass by Tsumeb, go for dinner in the Dros restaurant. You will...

Gypsy Journey _ roadtrip to Namibia and Botswana _ new adventures _ on the road to nowhere on whatever day _ making memories _ one campsite at a time _ Kupferquelle Resort As we arrived at Kupferquelle we were most impressed by the beautiful green lush lawns and huge trees that shade the camp sites from the blazing Namibian sun, truly an Oasis in the Namibian Desert. The well maintained camping grounds have rolling green lawns, a spectacular swimming pool, a duck pond with interesting fish and little waterfall. The ablutions are luxurious and spotlessly clean. We truly could not have wished for anything more, especially the affordable rates of R140 per person per night. The Wi-Fi is a plus, enabling one to communicate with the outside world while on our Namibian adventure. Watch this space for further photographs of this little gem Kupferquelle Resort.

The property is secure and safe with great large pool and good facilities. Rooms are clean and well maintained, it's just the beds should be a bigger to match up the rest. Had an issue in my room but the staff were quick in responding to the issue. There is reliable WiFi for those that needed to be connected. Just take note of what you are booking as they have a new rooms and older rooms which will also impact price too. *Update: After staying here for week I've experienced 3 morning of shower problems so I can honestly say that maintaince of the property is not the best. They appear to be reactive and not proactive in their maintenance. This turns out to be the case in 2 separate units during this stay alone.

Excellent service and customer care. The ambiance and setup is great too, lovely deco and colours with both outside sitting and a cozy indoor. Their menu is in the mid to high price range with a decent variety of choices to pick. I had their bowls, a BBC with rice. The meat was well done, tender and nicely seasoned. The rice was also cooked to par and the portion is satisfying. I got to taste their carrot cake as well, lovely, moist and fresh with not too much icing and for the price the size of slice was good.
