I planned to stay at the Kalsee Eco Lodge for one night but ended up staying there for 3 nights. Though the Lodge was little remote, it took one hour taxi (Rs1500) or bus ride from Pokhara to a village called Lumle, followed by one hour easy hike to the lodge, the Lodge sent a staff to receive me at Pokhara and accompanied there, this made my journey quite easy and enjoyable. The view of Annapurna was spectacular especially during early morning when the sky was clear. I enjoyed having breakfast with Mt Fishtail at the backdrop. Just so amazing! There were a few easy and pleasant trails around which could stretch my feet. Food was organic and fresh. The Lodge could arrange vegetarian food upon request. This was the first time I ate fresh ferns and mushrooms picked from the forest. A torch was provided so there was no problem walking around at night. The stars at night was another attraction to me. I enjoyed gazing the beautiful stars before having dinner. Thanks for the friendly owner, Chitra, for his warm hospitality to take me around and shared his stories about the local villages. I could feel that he really liked his village and would like to share it with others in great passion. I highly recommended this Lodge and I would stay...

Really natural, on hell of a lonely, quite and isolated place to visit for nature lovers. More and more varieties of plantation is recommended for...
