I’m not sure where to begin with this experience. We arrived at the hotel around 2:30 pm in the afternoon, and there were plenty of rooms available. We specifically requested rooms with a view, but when we went to the front desk, we were told that the system would automatically allocate our rooms. Given the remote location, I was unsure what system they were referring to.

Unfortunately, we were assigned rooms on a floor below the restaurant, with no view whatsoever. The rooms themselves were quite small for twin beds, and to make matters worse, the door locks were broken. Fortunately, we weren’t burglarized, but it was a concern. The room was very cold, and there was constant noise from the restaurant and adjacent rooms. Additionally, the nearby toilets created unpleasant smells.

The food was decent, but other aspects of our stay left much to be desired. When we checked in, an older man mentioned that Wi-Fi access would be free, but when we checked out, a different staff member charged us for it despite the earlier assurance. Even after arguing, the charge remained.

Overall, this was one of the most disappointing places I’ve stayed. I would avoid it at all costs. I also observed that the hotel appeared to favor foreign guests over locals, with the best rooms seemingly reserved for white or Korean visitors.

On a positive note, one of the kitchen staff (photo attached) and the chef were exceptionally kind and provided great service, which was the only redeeming part...

Arrogant owners with such entitlement. We had a booking with them at 2 hotels, the other one being at Bamboo run by the owner's sons, which we had reservations on our way back. We confirmed with him for both hotels before we left, but guess what, when we finally arrived at Bamboo, rooms were given to some other people and we had to walk an extra 2 hours in pitch black to find another cottage. The owner was very rude to begin with, claiming we cheated on the number of hot showers we took, double charging us for food items. Avoid this place and stay at the Sherpa hotel or somewhere in...

These people are unscrupulous and aggressive, first they said one price for the room - 600 rupees for 3 people, then said that we have to order food, we ordered, waited for an hour and a half, food did not even begin to cook, saying that they forgot about the order. After that we ate in another cafe. Then we came to our room and at night we were asked to check out if we did not order food in the morning. We said we would not be checking out and then we got a new price - 3600 rupees, 1200 per person. In the end we left and checked into one of the neighboring hotels where people...

We stayed here on the fourth night of our ABC hiking trip. After walking all day, we ordered dumplings and a bowl of mushroom soup for dinner. The soup was terrible because there was no topping or mushroom in it, just a clear soup seasoned with a few peppercorns. After dinner, my friend asked the guide, "Will we stay here again on the seventh night?" The guide answered, "Yes!" My heart was hurt.
