Very bad experience here. Not friendly to kid. Not recommended.
Me and my wife with our daughter stayed here for one night.I ordered chicken butter masala, butter naan, chicken mushroom soup and plain rice for dinner at 7:00pm We were very excited for the food. My daughter was super hungry. we keep waiting for the food already one hour. Finally, they brought a curry. My wife tasted and I tasted it was very spicy. They take it back that curry And gave us again same curry with spice. And again they bring that curry to kitchen and put ketchup to avoid spicy unluckily it was still spice and sweet. They forgot our chicken mushroom soup. Our daughter keep eating that burned black naan. And we didn’t wait another hour to get their food. We went to another restaurant just in front of their hotel. They were friendly and gave us non spicy food. We were lucky to find that restaurant. The thing I wanna share is staff here are not honest. Just tell me if you cannot make non spicy food then I’ll find another restaurants. Why they love to cheating us they can make non spicy food.
And they put chocolate inside the room on the table . The chocolate was full of ants.
The electricity connection is sucks. After we check in the electricity was broken. They fixed around 10:20pm. We couldn’t charge our phone and boil water for baby.
The hot water was not stable.
They breakfast they serve until 8:30am. We missed breakfast. After all they still charge us 3500rupees and he didn’t even say sorry.
They couldn’t offer the service as the price.
Definitely not...
Read moreComfortable, reliable, inexpensive with a good restaurant and friendly staff. I stayed here for a week last year and a week in January of 2016. It costs around $35 for the best rooms which were spacious and new. They are building more. This family run hotel can't be judged by western standards but they do a very good job overcoming the challenges of operation. For instance they have their own reservoir for fresh water in the nearby hills, a big generator for the daily power outages, and great security around the hotel. Water us solar heated and available in the mornings but not evenings. Wifi is good inside the hotel but the service in town that it relise on is down much of the time. This is not a tourist hotel and it is used by business travelers, drivers, officials, and NGO employees. ||||The restaurant is simply the best in town. The food is good if not outstanding. Clean and fresh. Nepali and Indian style. The service is good but sometimes you have to call for it. The food comes slowly. ||||The management and staff really try to meet your needs are do what it takes. Most are men in order to make it very clear to everyone that they are not involved in the trafficking that plagues this boarder region. This is a place that men bring their...
Read moreThis hotel is made so very welcoming by the professional, capable yet personable staff. My husband has stayed before, but this is my first visit. There are the usual hitches with power, hot water, etc., but the staff work hard to accommodate. The restaurant is wonderful no matter the meal, again staffed by clever chefs and masterful waitstaff. Meals have been superb and service beyond excellent. The rooms are clean and secure, well enough appointed for comfort, and calm in spite of being quite busy. It is worth buying up to a deluxe room for more reliable really hot water and more daylight from big windows. For western travelers, toilets and showers are western, sinks in room, not bathroom, heaters reliable (have “feeling” and “fungusproof” buttons on the remote!), secure parking, safe grounds. East-West Highway is noisy, but if you’re in Bardibas there’s not much way around that. Some moldy smells, but...
