We already took a look at several guesthouses in Kagbeni before we decided to stay here. The place looked and felt a lot nicer than other places. I wouldn't want to be near all the construction and the road. The room with the attached bathroom had a lot of hangers and excellent views from the room. The WiFi and the hot shower were both great.

Run by a lovely family, the rooms are clean and a nice heavy comforter is provided to keep warm.

The yak burgers are not to missed here, a very tasty meat patty in a fluffy burger bun, and don't forget the crinkle cut chips. I recommend adding some of the coleslaw and ketchup to the burger, but plenty of people in my group enjoyed them plain.

Plenty of space to hang laundry to dry, great coffee and drink selection. Wonderful view of Nilgiri Hamal, and step outside to see the goats run through the town in the morning...

Nice Staff. New lodge is built near by, so you have construction noises. Rooms are average - clean, with old beds - it was 9th night o trek and 1st one where I woke up with back pain. Hot shower is good. Food is rather tasty. Decent coffee at 400 npr. Room is 1500 NPR, so we ended up paying 10000 npr for 1 night stand - making it most expensive stay on...
