We were recommended this hotel by a well-known local who called it the best in town — and after our stay, we wholeheartedly agree. We feel fortunate to have been guided here during our visit to Besisahar.
We booked two rooms, described as “villas,” located in the lower section of the property. Each villa was thoughtfully appointed with air conditioning, a private balcony with chairs and a table, a spacious and modern toilet/shower, and reliable Wi-Fi. The room itself was generously sized, featuring a king bed, wardrobe, two side tables, and even an extra twin bed — perfect for families or groups.
During our visit, the weather was intensely hot and humid — it felt close to 40°C. The hotel’s swimming pool was a welcome relief, providing the perfect way to cool down. The outdoor space was expansive and well-maintained, complete with benches, tables, chairs, and a beautiful grassy lawn.
For dinner, we ordered mutton bhutan, fried asala fish, fish thali, and chicken thali — every dish was flavorful and expertly prepared. The bhutan was so good, we ordered a second plate. The highlight, however, was the locally sourced asala fish, perfectly complemented by the newly launched Gurkha Beer (Ruby Lager) — both were exceptional.
In terms of location, the hotel is conveniently situated just a stone’s throw from government offices and the town’s main street.
The staff — from reception to restaurant to management — were outstanding. Friendly, professional, and genuinely attentive, they went above and beyond to ensure our stay was comfortable and enjoyable.
Although we stayed only one night, the experience far exceeded our expectations. I’m not sure if the hotel holds an official 5-star rating, but it certainly delivered a 5-star experience in every sense — from the hospitality and food to the amenities and ambiance.
While I can’t recall every name, I’d like to extend heartfelt thanks to all the staff for their warm hospitality. Special thanks to Bhaskar Ji, Nakul Ji, Prakash Ji, and the friendly gentleman who served us the fish (apologies for missing your name) — and to everyone else who made our stay...
Read moreThe first time I stayed here it was good so I chose to stay here again recently. This time they were pretty pathetic to say the least. When we called to book rooms they said they are giving us some discount and that they are giving us a room worth Rs 4200/night for Rs 3600/night. We were quite happy with the offer until the next morning. The next morning we had planned to have breakfast at 7:30 and leave by 8:00. When we went for breakfast we were shocked to hear that BREAKFAST was NOT INCLUDED. This is how they not only managed to CHEAT us but also gave us extra reason get delayed with our plans. The manager didn't want to meet us in the beginning. Even after he met us he was pretty RUDE and was trying to justify his CHEATING. We had to go out search for a decent place for breakfast which made us one hour late and the car driver had to wait for an hour for us before we...
Read moreStayed here during the trip to Ghalegaun and not just happy but delighted by the total experience of food and stay here. Starting with the location, it lies near at the roadside so we can easily access vehicles to Manang, Bhotewodar or Ghalegaun. The Nabil Bank ATM at hotel gate is the plus point as we need not to roam for ATM. Just outside the hotel is jeep counter to Manang & Ghalegaun and shopping mart is just nearby the proximity. The ambience, decoration, garden, pool and food everything was superb and I didn't feel if they were overcharging me or I was getting less for what I was paying. The staffs are professional, approachable and cheerful, always ready to help the guests. Enjoyed the evening view from here and would definately recommend anyone visiting Lamjung to stay here. Good Luck to the entire team of Hotel...
