I am US. Citizens. Me and my family after 11 years decided to visit our motherland country Nepal. I google it, happen to find Greenland Hotel in Bhaktapur, Kathmandu Nepal. I called and asked greenland hotel sallaghari, Kathmandu Nepal Price 24 hours hotel room They have told me they are going to provide five star services Including room free room cleaning, Wi-Fi, and breakfast. I booked four rooms for my entire family. Gentalmen gave me the keys. After we went to visit temples. After 5 hrs of visiting tamples we Came back to hotel room. I had my Cpap-machine on small bag which I can’t carry with me for temple visits so I left it in the room. I originally paid $1200 and iPhone 8 plus which I paid $999 Has disappeared from the room. Days turned to dark, Time for me to sleep I am looking for a Cpap- machine but it is not there in the room.I went to the front desk and asked hey I have lost my stuff from my room, I don’t know somone has stolen it from my room. Is that anyway you guys check cc camera? They said no sir we don’t, we don’t have cc cameras. I thought taxi driver may stole it while he was dropping off us in the hotel. So, I have reported police my stolen items lost from my room. Police officer asked me several questions about the situations what happened. I was able to provide time that I am in the hotel room, the time and place that the driver pick me up and drop me off. Officer quickly spread this information to all the policies to find where this driver is and within the 30 minutes of timeframe they got the man who drop our stuff at the hotel room. They investigate and find out that he did not have the item left in his taxi or stolen. So it clearly tells me that my items where lost from the room from one of their staff. I let that go because I was new there and I did not want any trouble. The next day in the morning I left room for my tour came back about like 5 PM in the room. The room was looking like this below in the picture. Room was dusty not clean blanket was not fold the bed cover was dirty darker spots all over, there were no towels replaced, there were only one towel for two person staying in the one hotel room.I had big family I paid over Rs. 45,000. They did have hot water service, they did mention that we’ll have a AC for Rs.4500 room. But they had none but bring us stand fans. My rooms No. was 501, 604, 507, and 508. It was a shower time I was in the shower, water went out in the middle of my showers. My family came to my room and ask hey water went out what is going on. While same thing here. I called the front desk and ask hey we are out of water I was in the middle of shower and the water stops. Gentleman at the desk told me oh! we never had this issue I don’t know what’s going on will have water soon for you. Next day same thing, nothing different, same situation same result no changes.Guys anyone who wants to rent the Greenland sallaghari hotel. I am very sorry for you in advance you will have no service at all in that place. I don’t want you guys to have same problem that I had and lost your items from the room again. Read moreAbsolutely the worst hotel experience imaginable. The so-called 'deluxe room' was somehow worse than a basic standard room—hard to believe, but true.
The strangest part? We were escorted to the room without even being given keys. When we asked about it, the staff casually explained that since we’d be leaving early, they didn’t bother leaving the keys. Who even does that?
To top it off, there wasn’t even a proper check-in process—nobody took our details or seemed remotely interested in ensuring we were actual guests.
Final verdict: an unbelievably bizarre hotel. The only redeeming factor was the parking lot, which, unfortunately, was better maintained than the...
Read moreHotel GreenLand is the worst hotel that I have ever been to. This hotel tries to cheat you. I went to eat a breakfast in the hotel the menu price for the breakfast was 400 rupe . The front desk charged me 495 rupe mentioning service charge, and when I went to ask the receipt in 5 minutes, there was another guy, first he got angry that I asked him the receipt then he told me to pay 525 rupe. I told him I already paid the money then he asked me how much I paid and finally made the receipt for 495 rupe. I suggest everyone to be careful on the price as they haphazardly charge you mentioning...
