Hotel New Era — Hotel in Butwal

We reached Butwal after a long business trip in Nepal. We tried to get hotel en route but failed to get a good hotel for boarding and lodging from Narayanghat to Butwal. We were hungry and entered in the hotel anticipating that we may stay in hotel . We entered in hotel and two beautiful female dogs came out. We went in to the hotel and two lads are at reception. Both were gentle. One was owner and the price offered was NRs.2000/- for AC double. Which was quite reasonable. The staff was not available at midnight. Hotel is less than 5 minutes easy walk away from bus station & I thought it is going to be noisy so asked for the quietest room possible...which is what I got, But for my surprise even when I wasn't in my room the hotel wasn't noisy at all considering how near it is to bus station . Spacious and comfortable room and seating space created outside room is a lovely touch if you just want to be out from room and have a cup-pa on your own. Staff and the owners are pleasant and helpful and the food was great too. I was travelling on my own but whilst I was there it actually felt home. The hotel has clean, big, standard and Air Conditioned rooms at good price. It has big restaurant, enough area for parking vehicles. The person at reception is very helpful and provided us lots of information about Butwal. The Hotel is suitable for high quality visitors and foreign clients to stay. I was operating a group of 10 clients for western Nepal tour. We stayed there for a night but we had the dinner and breakfast outside. So, sorry that I do not know about restaurant services. I will recommend this hotel at Butwal for the publics, travel or trekking agencies if you are managing an overnight...
