The Monastery was great, got to help teach the kids, but im going to write a review for a flute I bought while staying at the monastery. Product review of the flute I bought from a guy who looked like Donald Trump in Nepal
4/5 Stars
I bought this flute expecting for it to break within the first week of use, little did I know this flute would prove to be quite fun, at least until I lost it traveling back to the United States. It was simple to use; I eventually learned how to play it quite efficiently within a week, being able to freestyle flute jazz and make some wonderful sounding tunes. This flute was not only comfortable to play but was also made from locally sourced bamboo and cork. The materials felt comfortable to use, though my flute did have a crack, but I covered it with tape which fixed any sound issues. Besides the crack, my only complaint would have to be the lack of design on the flute. It would have been fun if its maker could’ve added some engravings, although perhaps that would have increased the price. None the less I had fun with this flute. So, not only was it a high-quality product, but it was also sustainably produced and sold for the relatively cheap price of 10 USD or about 1,200 Nepali Rupee. I had fun with the flute, such a shame it got lost in shipping. The next time I got to Nepal, if I were to ever see that man again, I would probably buy his whole stock as gifts for my friends. A great quality flute, easy to learn, and cheap. Overall, an amazing product for being...

The manager gave a warm welcome with a soothing smile.||The room was shown - it was neatly maintained with good quality bed, a decent size nearly 20 x 20m with attached bath nicely placed towels and hand wash.||This impressed.||the hotel is very quiet and the room is provided with a balcony. there is addition portico where you can enjoy a coffee or read books no one to bother you.||The food is purely vegetarian and the vegetables are organic in nature. The food served is very neatly served or buffet is available if the guests are more.||One can visit the monastery know about buddhism if some one interested.||We spent around 2 hours in the monastery which was appealing .||The hotel has small wirerope bridge nearly at 8 min walk.||The hotel is surrounded by village and agriculture / farming.||Observations:||The toilet lacks some fittings like soap holder. Room service needs to upgraded like repace ment of water bottles.||||Overall a nice hotels those who want to escape from hassle of city life. Nice hotel staffs.I would recommend to visit with family...
Read moreI've been used to live in monastery guesthouses. It's cheap and convenient, when for instance going for Buddhist training This is the first time I've seen a monastery with a real hotel.|Neydo surely concentrate on another clientele who wants to spend more money on rooms, eating and comfort, as the rooms prices are almost 10 times higher than in guesthouses, and much higher than in comfortable hotels in Kathmandu. |But I shouldn't compare, because this is another experience, and a very beautiful one. On a hilltop with a beautiful view, away from the polluted Kathmandu.Just next to a monastery, and you know where the hotels income is going to. You can enjoy the pujas, search information on the life in the monastery. The manager and the other monks who are working in the hotel are very, very kind and helpful. For instance one of them proposed to follow me to the holy places in Pharping, and it was a a beautiful and informative day.|The food is delicious. Big tables, so if you're travelling alone you have the possibility to join other travellers. Spacious and beautiful rooms and surroundings. Very clean. For instance I've never seen a water closet and bathroom clean like this in Nepal.|So I really want to recommend it.If you're tired of the dust and noice in Kathmandu, or if you want to take some days rest after hiking, this is...
