When I checked into hotel Jalsa with my three colleagues in June it was over 100F outside and the only 1 of our three rooms had functioning air conditioning. We were told several stories including that the problem was intermittent power or that we had made the mistake of turning off the AC when we left the room (impossible as we had just checked in!)||Fortunately I was relocated to a room with functioning aircon but my colleague was relocated to a room that was overrun with mosquitos. Over our three day stay we found that mosquitos in the rooms of the hotel are a persistent problem.||The kitchen produces tasty food but it is quite slow - expect to wait 30-45 minutes for dinner, 30 minutes for breakfast. English is not strong among the wait staff so we had several misunderstood or forgotten orders during our stay.||Rooms are generally clean by local standards (but not to western standards - for example, blanket on bed is sticky from lack of cleaning.
