My Nepali home ๐งก I stayed and worked remotely for the whole week at Eco Farmhouse. I felt home and part of the family. The owners are caring, easy going and cheerful. They ensured I was comfortable and had everything I needed + whenever they could they tried to make my dreams come true (e.g. since I mentioned I love ginger, everyday I was receiving something with ginger). Food was delicious, fresh, nutritious and diverse. I loved everything I tried, especially my favourite: ginger pancakes. Place is peaceful and beautiful. There is a sunny rooftop and covered terrace, so no matter if you prefer to stay in the sun or shade, you can spend all your time outside. Its perfect for yoga, meditation, eating and working on your computer. Wifi works great (I could have video meetings with no issues). There is also a good mobile connection for Ncell, so if wifi doesnt work (due to electricity outgade for example), you can switch to hotspot and work without any interruption. I liked the farm tour - it was very informative and made me notice new details about the place. I also enjoyed a walk from Nammo buddha - the path is very beautiful. Im grateful that I could attend Sarasvati Puja in the nearby school and watch dance performances. And last, but not least, I loved all conversations with the family. I learned some much about farming, Nepali culture and life. I left Patlekhet sad and grateful ๐งก I hope to come back in...
ย ย ย Read moreI had my best stay here . Owner(Bishnu dai) is very friendly and treats each and every guest as his own family member. We also met two people from Israel (Ehran was the name of one of them, Amazing person) and had our dinner with them. Dinner was delicious with local vegetables, ghee and tasty chicken. After dinner, we celebrated the Nepali new year eve dancing together with some firewood, and Bishnu Dai was also with us smiling and making sure if we need anything. I was surprised when he suddenly went upstairs and literally brought lots of fruit salad and papad at 11 PM. And in the morning, we walked around 5 minutes to see the beautiful view of the village. It was a really some farmhouse experience as they have their own cowshed as well. After having a breakfast with a glass of delicious fresh cow milk and a cup of tea, we were planning to leave until they said we are having a special lunch as it was a New Year, and that turned out to be one of the most delicious meal I have ever had, that too without any extra cost. I still relish the taste of that pulao, chicken, special pickle and every other items. Kudos to Bishnu Daiโs wife for making such a good food, she cooked it as it was for her own children, and thanks to his family for such a great gesture. I never felt I was outside my home...
ย ย ย Read moreMy time spent at Patlekhet Eco Farm was truly unforgettable. From the moment I arrived, I was embraced as part of the Tiwari family. Their warm smiles and the breathtaking view instantly made me feel at home.
Originally, my plans only allowed for a two-night stay, but day after day, I found myself extending my visit. The Tiwari family eagerly shared insights into their daily lives and what it's like to live in rural Nepal. They explained their organic agriculture practices, exemplified true eco-friendliness, and patiently answered all my questions.
What made the experience even more special was the delicious, home-cooked meals made from their fresh produce. Each day, we gathered as one big family to enjoy breakfast, lunch, and dinner together, which became my favorite part of the stay.
While travelers may have different expectations and desires, if you seek a culturally enriching, family-oriented experience, Patlekhet Eco Farm is the perfect choice. It offers more than just a bed, a hot meal, and a stunning view; it provides an opportunity to immerse yourself in Nepalese culture and create...
