KOT Danda Agro Resort — Hotel in Godawari

I recently had the pleasure of staying at Kot Danda Resort, and it was truly an unforgettable experience. Nestled on a peaceful hillside just outside the city, this resort offers stunning panoramic views of the Kathmandu Valley and surrounding hills—especially during sunrise and sunset.

The atmosphere is serene and perfect for relaxation, whether you’re looking for a quiet weekend escape or a special celebration. The rooms were clean, cozy, and tastefully designed with a lovely touch of traditional Nepali architecture. The staff were exceptionally warm, attentive, and always ready to help with a smile.

One of the highlights was the food—fresh, delicious, and served with care. I especially enjoyed the local Nepali dishes. The resort also has beautiful gardens, outdoor seating, and open spaces perfect for meditation, yoga, or simply enjoying nature.

I had a good experience at this place. The location is wonderful. But to reach here is really a tough task due to some off roads and as its rainy season the unpiched roads are really tough to cover. However, not that difficult. And, I wished to do a BBQ but, unfortunately it wasn't available due to some reasons I dont know which was not made clear either. We felt the food quality great though not all the items of the menu were available. But the food quality is good and tasty. We did visit late morning till the evening. But we may visit once again for sure as we felt the welcoming hospitality. Suggestion is to improve the resort areas by cleaning and investing something that might lure the costumers. We had a great experience at this restaurant. The hospitality was truly impressive, with friendly and respectful staff who made us feel welcome from the start. Even the security guard was exceptionally kind. You won't believe how affordable the prices are, considering the service and ambiance. The food taste wasn't bad either, and the peaceful atmosphere, combined with a nice view, made it a pleasant visit. While the place is still under construction, I’m hopeful they’ll complete it soon.
