Hotel Green View — Hotel in Illam

Hotel Green View is located in Ilam district, a popular tourist destination known for its scenic beauty and proximity to the famous tea gardens. Given its prime location, one would naturally expect excellent service and hospitality. Unfortunately, our experience at the hotel fell far short of these expectations.

The food we ordered was highly disappointing. The lentils lacked salt, the meat was overly spicy, and the rice seemed undercooked. Not only was the taste subpar, but the presentation and cleanliness of the food also left much to be desired. While the hotel’s location is fantastic, its service and management were quite underwhelming.

Considering the significance of this area as a tourist hotspot, guests anticipate high-quality service and warm hospitality. However, our experience suggests that the hotel risks losing the trust of its visitors if improvements are not made. We strongly urge the management to take this feedback seriously and work towards enhancing their service quality.

For a place as beautiful as Ilam to maintain its reputation as a top tourist destination, establishments like Hotel Green View must step up and deliver a better experience. We hope this feedback is taken...

The hotel looks good from outside and carpeting also seems good, but management is worst. I spent one night with my family including my kids. There was no water early in the morning in bathroom. There was single lamp in the room and no provision for night lamp. ||I've cancelled all my food order due to extreme service delay and my I took some food from outside for my kids.||There is no point for mobile charhing.||TV not working. ||No menu and no contact number of house keeping in case needed. I had to google for contact number and called hotel bit no one received at 6:15 am in the morning. I have to go down and make noise to wake up hotel staffs, because there is no water and no mobile charging point. ||I never recommend this hotel toy...

We stayed two nights here. Really nice and clean room with seating area and balcony. The beds are quite hard and there was no warm water or heating during our stay. Therefore the price might be slightly high. However, we haven't found hot water or heating anywhere else in Ilam, so you might just have to face the fact that cold showers are also very refreshing, and bring an extra jacket if you visit during winter. Staff was very friendly, helpful and the food is really good! Food and hot tea can be brought to your room, but the restaurant area is also comfortable. Great...
