Kalinchwok Country Villa — Hotel in Kalinchok

I recently booked a package with Country Villa Kalinchowk and unfortunately had a terrible experience. I was travelling with elderly family members and we got stuck in Gaeri village due to heavy snowfall. Despite informing the hotel of our situation, they were unable to arrange a vehicle to help us not even for 2 elderly people to reach our destination. We waited for four hours in the freezing cold, with no assistance from the hotel and they were accusing us for staying there in that freezing cold.This was an extremely distressing and uncomfortable experience, particularly for the elderly members of our group.

When we reached out to the hotel to express our dissatisfaction, they were unresponsive and unhelpful. To make matters worse, they accused us of not wanting to go to Kalinchowk, which was completely untrue. I would strongly advise against booking with Country Villa Kalinchowk. Their lack of concern for their customers' wellbeing and inability to handle unexpected situations make them a poor choice for anyone looking for a reliable and comfortable travel experience. These people are cheats..

We booked 2 rooms last week, and before booking enquired about availability of Heaters etc, and were assured that everything is there. 100% advance payment was made at Kathmandu.

We reached this place at about 11 in the night in freezing cold, Only to be told that there is no Arrangement for Room Heating. at Minus 3Degrees..!!!!!.

We tried calling up the owner several times but he did not take our calls. after much noise , they staff arranged just 1 heater from somewhere. That meant only 1 room could have heating .

We were forced to stay all 3 of us in 1 room and the rooms are really small.

To the credit of the staff, they did arrange enough blankets and lit up the bonfire for us to sit around and have our drinks and dinner. the staff also cooked us dinner at midnight.

Worst experience ever. Although the booking was done in country villa for the new year eve 2022 program, the management team shifted me along with many customers who booked their stay over there to another dreadful hotel with no basic facilities, not even a single drop of water.Worst management team I had ever seen. Except that so many problems within the travelling even in the full tour package with the lavish charge. We were not made aware about the hidden charges we had to go through during travelling from dewrali to kuri as the vehicles we booked wasn't able to go to kuri due to heavy snowfall. Syndicate, monopoly of the four wheeler vehicle service provider over there.
