3PASS GUEST'S HOUSE — Hotel in Khumbupasanglahmu

Probably our least favourite stay on the trek. I dont want to leave a bad review but to be honest... The food wasn't great. The fire made the room quite smokey. Bedroom was the coldest we experienced on the trek and ours didn't actually have any floor boards under the bed (just mud/outdoor ground)... could hear mice during the night running around the room/walls (not the first time on the trek to be fair, but still, not ideal). Lots of bugs/flying cockroach type things in the hallway.

However, the owners were kind and warm, the dining room was beautifully decorated & had some blankets. They also have a proper coffee machine although we didn't try it. They offered the room for free and a welcome...

Very welcoming and friendly hosts with restaurant-quality pizza on the menu, they have somehow got a proper pizza oven up here!! Rooms were comfortable with the offer of an extra blanket if needed. It felt like the hosts went above and beyond to ensure that our stay was perfect. Cannot recommend this lodge...
