The worst teahouse of our trek to EBC!
The rooms sparse and very cold - as expected, so no problem.
VERY expensive food, drinks, hot water and electricity - as expected, so no problem.
Problems: Many of the foods here were more expensive here than at Gorakshep, which makes no sense to me.
The common room was freezingly cold and the worker there allowed the fire to go out completely, before lighting it back again couple times through the evening.

Read moreNot our favourite tea house but its understandable given its location. The place was freezing and the owner was reluctant to heat the common area which made the evening really uncomfortable. The rooms are fine. The food was pretty average and very expensive (about $20AU for 2 stale pieces of toast) There is no running water and the use of electricity is expensive (again, understandable due to the location) There aren't many other options...
