Hotel Central Plaza in Nepalgunj stands out as an exceptional lodging option, especially appreciated for its comprehensive services and culinary delights. Located a bit far from the airport, the hotel provides a highly recommended airport pickup and drop service that adds convenience and ease for travelers arriving in the city.
From the moment of arrival, guests are greeted with warm hospitality that continues throughout their stay. The hotel offers a variety of room options, and during my visit, I experienced the luxury of staying in a deluxe room. The rooms are well-appointed with modern amenities, comfortable bedding, and provide a soothing environment for relaxation after a busy day.
The dining experience at Hotel Central Plaza is noteworthy, with a restaurant that caters to a variety of tastes. The menu boasts an array of dishes that are both international and local. The highlight for many is the authentic Nepali cuisine, offering a taste of the region’s culinary heritage. The Thakali Thali is a must-try, beautifully presented and bursting with flavors that represent the Thakali people's traditional cooking. Each component of the thali—from the dal to the saag, the mutton curry, and the pickles—is prepared with care, creating a harmonious blend of tastes and textures.
Additionally, the hotel serves a range of continental dishes, with the chicken schnitzel being particularly popular among guests. It's crispy on the outside, tender on the inside, and served with a side of creamy mashed potatoes and steamed vegetables, making for a satisfying meal.
The breakfast buffet is ample and varied, featuring everything from fresh fruits, cereals, and yogurts to more hearty options like scrambled eggs, sausages, and local Nepalese dishes. The coffee served is rich and aromatic, providing the perfect start to the day.
Overall, Hotel Central Plaza is not just about a place to stay; it’s about experiencing Nepalese hospitality and cuisine at its best. The attentive staff, comfortable rooms, and excellent food make it a top choice for travelers seeking comfort and quality...

The year 2024 and I'm back again
Hotel Central Plaza Where comfort meets and exceeds ones expectation. My initial conversation started in email and whatsapp. Meeting and conversation with the COO Kashiram Adhikari was amazing. He is someone who would make you feel valued and listen to all your concern and try his best to meet all your expectations and in fact he did. He was always available when needed to contact him. Similarly Manisha Pokhrel, the sales & Marketing Associate, she would always maintain the chain of communication which is very important. I much appreciate it. From the entrance in to the hotel, followed by the comforting cold towel handed over to us smelling so good, the food served (delicious & a variety), the comfortable rooms, the hospitality we got to experience from everyone there – everything was exceptional. I also wish to express my gratitude to the below staff: • Pabitra Basnet (Front Office Associate) Front Office Department • Alina Thapa Magar (Front Office Associate) Front Office Department • Muna Khatri (F&B Hostess) and the entire F&B team • Pappu Sunar & Every single staff who were on their toes to make our experience a memorable one.
1st stay July 2018 (On my 3day conference) 2nd Stay Jan 2019 (Just for a night) I highly recommend the property to the travellers travelling to the FarWest, travelling Via Kohalpur or the travellers exploring Bardia National Park / Karnali Bridge. It's great to see a property like this with a swimming pool, friendly staff. Because I want to see you grow I have a feedback for you as follows: Being prompt is very crucial be it setting up the dinner / Lunch / Breakfast and / or acknowledging other guests request. Be extra careful when it comes to food. Hygiene being the first priority. I am hoping to visit you guys...
Read moreThis is one of the most beautiful property that you will come across in this part (mid western) of Nepal. To be honest, I do not have any suggestion for improvements. Let me point out things I loved about this place during my 3 days stay of my business travel.
The hotel complex dodges the city crowd and the influx of people. The property is beautifully located close to the east west highway. The staffs are hospitable and welcoming. The parking space is ample The General Manager and the hotel owner is always speaking to the guests and ensuring of good stay. The rooms are big and has humongous window. The most beautiful part for me was sitting by the window and watching the greenary, the small stream and people around. The bathroom has all bathroom amenities The property has a functional restaurant and swimming pool.
You will fall in love with this place if you have your own vehicle and also if you do not like noisy locations. This is an absolute place for a book lover like me.
The only suggestion I would like to make is, please be consistant on service as I have seen a lot if hotels shut because of lack of proper service. Nevertheless, I enjoyod my...
