Hotel Benju — Hotel in Kushma

In my experience, it is an overrated hotel. From outside, it looks nice, but once you live in the room, the problem starts. There was no hot water, though the staff kept insisting it would come. I let the water run for more than 10 minutes as they suggested but no hot water. Then the staff said it is run by solar and because there is not enough sun maybe there is not enough hot water 🤦. Then there was no toilet paper. The attached bathroom and the door were the worst. There is space at the bottom of the door and at the top, so if you make your sh!t, it can be heard and smelled in the room. Plus, the door is making too much noise when it is open/close. The door has thin steal cover, so it also makes sound when touched/pressed slightly. The bathroom mirror is even bad, like for many years it was not cleaned. Definitely would not recommend it.

Note: It could be interesting for a young couple, and it could be ok. But for me, a hotel like this is not acceptable.

If l could give 8stars then l would. Absolutely amazing after a good days ride and to be honest its the first hot hot 🔥 shower l have had in Nepal. The 5th hotel in 2weeks and the hot shower was incredible. Rooms are basic tho everything you need and my room had extra blankets for a very warm nights sleep. All the staff are so friendly, happy & polite. I wanted to sit on my balcony and enjoy a beer b4 the sun set and they brought me up a chair to enjoy the moment. Breakfast was included and it was the best breakfast ive had which was included in the room. Very affordable, very nice and we will be returning on our bike ride from Jomsom. Thanks again to all...
